Solar typed quickly on her phone as she jogged down the hallway to her office. "Come on, Sun," She called after her daughter, who was running after her, her backpack bouncing on her back. Solar stopped and grabbed her daughter's backpack for her, so she could run a little faster.

"Okay, baby, I'm going to try to be quick, but this type of surgery takes at least two hours or so," Solar told her, closing the door to her office and locking it right away, closing the blinds in the door. "When I'm done we can go get a burger or we can go get a pizza. I just need you to have some patience, Sun."

Sunyoung nodded and sat on the couch as Solar began to quickly strip down out of her jeans and t-shirt, and into a pair of scrubs from her closet. "Okay, so I have to go to the room you showed us?" She asked, not entirely comfortable with going by herself since Sky was still in Pyongchang.

Solar glanced at her daughter and saw how nervous she looked and shook her head. "Can you get my comb and give me a big ponytail?" She asked, wanting to relax her daughter so she could relax before going into surgery, not wanting to worry and make sure Sunyoung was okay.

"Sure," Sunyoung nodded happily, digging in Solar's purse and pulling out a comb.

Solar grabbed her sneakers and sat on the couch, slowly putting them on before taking off all of her jewelry and slipping it in a velvet bag while Sunyoung combed her hair. "Well, why don't you come and watch in the gallery so you will know what I do, but you've never seen me in action. You always ditch me for Momma on taking your kid to the workday," She teased with a small laugh, glancing up at Sunyoung, who was carefully combing her hair.

"Will I see blood and guts?" Sunyoung asked with a scowl even though Solar couldn't see her since she was behind her, caused her to laugh.

"You'll see some, but you don't have to look, you can still play on your iPad or watch a movie," Solar told her, standing up and kissing her on the forehead as a thank you. She then rubbed her back as she pulled her into a quick hug.

"Okay," Sunyoung nodded.

"Sweet, let's go, honey," Solar told her, locking up her personal items and closing her office door.

30 minutes later Solar looked up at Sunyoung, who was in the operating room gallery with her iPad and headphones, she gave her daughter a thumb and winked from behind her goggles before starting her surgery. "Is your little one up there too?" Ji Hyun, one of the attendings that were scrubbed in, asked with a smile.

"Nope," Solar shook her head, slowly making her incision into her patient's chest. "She's in Pyongchang with my mom for the week. Her last hurrah before turning the old age of 2," She teased. "Trust me you would know if Dr. Sky Sky was here, she would be banging on the glass, demanding to come help," She rolled her eyes playfully. "Moonbyul is at a work dinner, so I just have Sunyoung with me tonight, I have to leave right away after, so let's work efficiently and effectively."

Sunyoung leaned forward and finally stood up, walking closer to the glass and leaning on it to watch her mother. "Eomma's super cool," She smiled as she watched her mother sing softly to the music playing while she performed her surgery. "Look at all the blood," She then scowled and sat back down quickly.

"How am I doing, Sun?" Solar asked, causing Sunyoung to jump and look around since she didn't know they could speak to one another. "I can hear you up there, baby," She laughed softly. "I think you're super cool too."

Sunyoung blushed. "Do I talk like normal?" She asked, looking around again, trying to spot a microphone of some sort.

"Yep, we can talk like normal," Solar replied, her eyes never leaving her patient. "This is how a human heart looks in your chest, look up at the big screen, see how it's pumping."
