Dipper POV
Hello, my name is Dipper Pines. I am twenty-one years old and currently sitting on a bus with my sister, Mabel Pines.
We are going to Gravity Falls this summer. Mabel just decided it would be a good idea to get away from all the stress from college.
Personally, I... well I don't really have a big opinion on it.
Gravity Falls is the town my parents left me at with my great uncle, Stanley Pines. He wasn't really the best parental figure but that's alright.
This town is also where... my problems started. I shook my head; I am not going to think about that now.
The bus hit a bump, causing Mabel to wake up.
"H-Huh?" She sleepily rubbed her eyes. "Are we there yet?"
"Looks like it." I said.
"Last stop Gravity Falls Oregon!" And like on cue, the bus driver shouted.
Me and Mabel grabbed our things and headed out. Mabel was excited like usual and ran out from the bus.
While I took my time collecting our things, I have grown up here after all, there isn't anything to be too excited about.
"Are you coming Dipper?" Mabel shouted which snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah!" I yelled back.
Just as I thought I had everything and put my hands in my pockets i realized, the paper.
I started desperately going through all my pockets and backpack looking for the small note, but it was gone.
My hands started shaking.
No, no... this can't be happening! My head was spinning, and I felt like I was about to faint from panicking so much.
I dropped down to my knees because my legs felt too weak.
3rd Person POV
Mabel noticed Dipper was taking a lot of time, so she decided to walk back into the bus only to see her brother collapsed on his knees and shaking.
"Dipper!" She ran towards him and kneeled beside him. "Are you okay?"
"T-The... T-The paper." Dipper muttered.
"What paper?" Mabel asked even though she kind of knew what Dipper was talking about.
Ever since Dipper had gotten his memory erased he had always had this small piece of paper on him. He wouldn't let Mabel read or see it and he would panic whenever it wasn't in his pocket or under his pillow when he slept.
Dipper's breathing started speeding up as he felt panic take over his body.
"Dipper? You mean this paper?" Mabel held up the little note that laid on the ground.
Dipper calmed down and took the note.
"Thanks... sorry i freaked out." Dipper chuckled and stood up.
"It's alright bro-bro." Mabel smiled and gave Dipper's shoulder a pat.
"Hey! Get out of the bus already kids!" The bus driver was growing impatient.
"Okay, okay!" Mabel snapped.
The twins walked out from the bus to be met by their great uncles.
"There they are! My favorite grandkids!" Stan and Ford hugged the two. Dipper felt kind of uncomfortable, he had never really liked being hugged too much.
