Optimus x Ratchet

A repeat?

Ultra magnus.

Ratchet had still felt hopeless when bee and raf found him, he just wanted to rust away but once ultra magnus came. The entire scene changed.

"Primus! I can't even believe my optics.. ultra magnus."
"Ratchet, i see you are doing well." The medic let out a sigh before replying, "not really.. optimus just.. he might- i think- i-" the medic was not able to express himself at the moment. He was stunned and shook with the mix of hopefulness. "I just can't believe you're alive, commander.. all this time.. we believed-" "that i was offline..? I am not, ratchet." Ratchet was hopeful with the SIC but his mind couldn't help but wonder what ever happened to the prime.

Time skip to yes

'This is ridiculous.' Ratchet thought, they were able to find smokescreen and now they were fighting with the cons in the new fortess megatron had made called 'darkmount' but the thing that made ratchet freeze in his tracks was- "optimus?!" The prime had joined the battle and had save ratchet from getting shot. The prime turned his helm to his medic and said, "greetings.. old friend." Ratchet's jaw had dropped, but then watched as ultra magnus had went up to the prime and gave a salute before saying, "sir.. you seem more.. robust." The prime gave a nod and was about to reply before hearing a growl from behind. He turned and the warlord and the prime's fists had clashed, ratchet still couldn't believe his optics. This solar-cycle has been full of surprises. He yelped in alarm as wheeljack tackled him to the side, a shot missed them and the wrecker sighed, "docbot, you should be careful." "For primus' sake! Get off me!"

Optimus and ratchet were holding onto each other like their life depended on it. The hug seemed to go on forever but in reality it was only three cycles. They slowly let go of each other, silence loomed between the two before ratchet spoke, "i missed you.." the prime gave a nod to the medic and leaned in to kiss him. Ratchet kissed back and they held it until a certain commander cleared his vocal cords. The two separated, blushing madly before optimus shook it away and said, "right- ultra magnus.. it is good to see that you are alive." The commander gave a nod before asking, "what will we do now?"

I'm loosing it y'all- motivation is slipping and we are time skipping

Ratchet could not believe it, he was captured again. "Get your claws off me!" He growled as he was being dragged to the warlord himself. "Ratchet.. good to see you again." The medic didn't like where this was going once he set his optics on a mech that everyone thought was dead. "Shockwave."

Ratchet felt like the past was repeating himself. Being strapped down, tortured, saved, but one thought was lingering closely. Optimus' death. 'But he'll be revived again.. right..?' Ratchet thought to himself as he watched shockwave and megatron talking about whatever they were planning on doing to him. He only leaned his helm back and closed his optics, preparing for torture.

Optimus was panicking internally, after finding out shockwave was alive with weapons of mass destruction, he feared what would happen to ratchet. Although, bumblebee was definitely expressing his fear for ratchet. The child threw wrenches at others that would make ratchet proud, the rookie finally got the bot to settle down and make the madness end. Optimus didn't want ratchet to go through the same song and dance, or even worse. He only hoped for the best.

Time skip since I'm tired

Ratchet only scowled while looking at the synthetic formulas shockwave had written down. He was only glad that they didn't keep him on a leash as he continued working on the synthetic weapon. His optics wandered around the lab as he continued to pretend working, he wanted to slow the process down so that he could find a way out. "Ratchet." He jumped then turned around to see the mech staring with no emotion. Ratchet huffed out and muttered loudly, "what. What is it?" Shockwave turned to face his monitor, the medic sighed and walked over to see what the scientist wanted. Once the medic saw what the scientist had accomplished, he froze, "oh- um- what's this?" Ratchet wanted to quickly find a way to destroy all of this work. Shockwave eyed him suspiciously but started to tell him what it was still, ratchet ignored it, only wanting to stall the time and hastily thought of an escape route. Shockwave had finished explaining and said, "ratchet, i- OOGH" ratchet threw a wrench right in his optic. Shockwave slowly fell backwards and was unconscious on the floor, ratchet panicked and screamed quietly, "oh slag! I'm so scrapped!" He quickly went over to the monitor and was about to try and erase all his work but then heard the door slide open to reveal megatron. "Shockwave i- ratchet?!" The medic froze and cursed, "oh frag-!" "Decepticons! Seize him!" Vehicons that were nearby ran in but luckily ratchet had wrenches nearby him. He quickly grabbed the two that were closest to him and threw them, hitting the incoming ones on the helm. He was about to grab more until megatron had fired a shot to the wrench he was going after. "I see someone didn't learn their lesson about what happens to them if they threw a wrench at my decepticons." Ratchet panicked, he had remembered back on cybertron he had once threw a wrench at the warlord and the ex-gladiator scarred him for life. Ratchet wanted to run for it but vehicons were quick to swarm around him, he watched as several guns were pointed at him. Then the grey mech said, "take him to the predacon. Ratchet has no more use."

Huge, major time skip since I'm too lazy to do the entire episode cuz we know how it goes down-

Cybertron. Megatron was dead, the decepticons had scattered, bumblebee's voice was back, bumblebee's going to be given the warrior title and all that is left is the restoration of cybertron. Ratchet sighs as he was hugging optimus tightly, the prime was holding the medic just as tightly. "Finally.. home..." "indeed, old friend, indeed."

Ratchet watched the as the prime and explosive wrecker went to retrieve the allspark and then helped in restoring cybertron but he first wanted to visit some old places, bumblebee tagged along just in case ratchet was attacked. The two were driving down the barren road, seeing offlined and rusting frames everywhere they went. They finally got to their destination, ratchet's old medical academy. He transformed and looked around the destroyed area, bumblebee did the same, he was walking closely by ratchet's side. They both explored the streets they once knew, buildings that once stood, and cybertronians that once thrived. Because of this great war, it all came tumbling down. Ratchet and bee continued to walk down to where ratchet used to work, then towards iacon. Since bumblebee wasn't able to visit any places before, he would question the medic what was here and there. Ratchet would tell bumblebee everything that was once there, what he did and where he went. Ratchet even showed the warrior where he used to live and where he met optimus and all the special spots they went to together. "It all.. really changed." Bumblebee said as he looked around the desolate land, the medic nodded and the two continued to walk to iacon. What they didn't know was that someone was watching them.

Time skip since cybertron's gonna be restored

"Megatron?!" Ratchet felt like he was gonna pass out. "But bee just killed him!" Smokescreen scowled as they were face to face with the upgraded warlord. "Not megatron, unicron." The god hisses and ultra magnus stepped in front of the team, "same difference." He held up is hammer and got into a battle stance, but the possessed leader snorted and demanded, "where is optimus prime."

Optimus and wheeljack got the message of the return of the dark god. "Wheeljack, we must go quickly." "On it, chief." The wrecker pushed the handle and the jackhammer went faster. The conflict was not over yet.

Uhh, there- sorry if it seems rushed?? I'm sort of not having a good time at the moment- actually when am i ever- and so this chappy kinda rushy and sorry for the numerous time skips, i got lack over motivation. Plus I don't want to play out the whole episodes again with little twists to make it more optimus x ratchet-y, if that makes sense- and so now i shall see y'all on the next chapter, peace
