The moment those words left his mouth, his eyes widen in embarrassment as he quickly let go of her and stood up quickly, turning his face the other away to avoid any eye contact with her. and slapped his hand hard over his mouth, probably left a huge red mark over his lips.

"Did I just say what I think I just said? t-take care of her..? What the hell is wrong with me or who does she think she is making me pity her and say such disgusting sappy things?"

he thought as he rewinded what happened a few seconds before when he was comforting and holding her.

"I-I um, sorry it's not my place to say that, you said it yourself that you have been able to take care of yourself" He muttered loud enough for her to hear, still not looking her way at all.

The girl looked up at the tall boy still processing what had happened, she then gets up and wipes her tear-stained eyes and laughed at him.

"pfft, wow did mister monster just comfort me and then regretted it?"

She smirked up at the silver-haired villain, her arms crossed across her chest, she obviously needed to tease him whenever she got the chance.

He still had his back against her and scoffed, "Well, you ...ugh whatever you are fine now, I am sorry that the heroes didn't save your parents though.... I think I'm going out to do some hero hunting as I should, other than being with an emotional idiot like yourself"

She shoved him playfully and rolled her eyes, "All right pack it up, traumatic boy"

Garou finally turned around and gave her the, "are you serious " face.

"Ok, I'm out! "He says as he heads towards the window and opens it.

"Wait, why are you leaving through the window are you tryna be a bad a** or something?"

She said, barely holding in her laugh from how extra this guy was.

His veins bulged out of his head and he grit his teeth, "Uh no It's just easier for me so just  shut up"

Before he jumps off, she rushes to him and smiles, "hey, even though I know you didn't like comforting me  I am thankful, you're not so bad mister hero hunter"

Garou was taken back to her words, "not so bad" and his face heats up a bit as he looks away.

"Don't say crap like that, it was just a moment that won't ever happen again, I won't let it happen as long as I live here till I quickly find another hideout" He replies with an affirmative tone of voice.

"Aw, you sure you won't resist my charms" she fluttered her eyelashes at him and he backed away and shook his head.

"Why am I wasting my time? all right bye little girl" He says before jumping off the ledge

"Bye ga-" He didn't finish hearing her goodbye as he sneaked out into the city.

(Y/N) waved at him though she knew he wasn't looking and closed her window but left it unlocked.

She made her way to her desk to see if she had any unfinished assignments since she's been so busy with a certain hero hunter.

As she sat down she checked the time 7:25 p.m and smiled to herself.

"Wasting our time you say huh?" She muttered to herself, as soon as he left she felt an overcoming sadness, not because of what he said but the fact that he wasn't near her made her feel isolated as if she was just with something she needed and it was taken away and she had nothing.

She slapped her head, "Ahhhhh, (Y/N) get a hold of yourself, he's not even your boyfriend and you're clinging so easily to him" she thought out loud.

"No problem (y/n), it's just what those heroes deserve, And don't worry I'll take care of you from now on"

That sentence played over and over as she stared at her worksheet, and didn't stop the heat over rising of not only her cheeks but her whole body.

It made her feel so good and for what? The fact he was hot and had a soft spot for her made her an even bigger simp for him.

Did really 2 days with a stranger really make me clingy? Was I so touch starved that him holding me confirms that I have a crush on him no....what if I'm in love?

as that thought slid into her mind, she got up and grabbed a pillow, and screamed into it, for a few seconds.

Ugh what if he doesn't like me back, what if he....leaves me what will I do then?

She then sighs in defeat, Guess he didnt't need to hunt my heart down to make me his simp huh?"
