The Start of Something New

Maddalyn:Of course I would love to!!! I say in excitment and jump into Zachs arms without thinking and wrapped my legs around his torso and threw my arms around his neck luckily he caught me.
Zach:Whoah uh...s-someone's excited.
Jack:I think three people are excited. Jack said referring to Zach's little friend.
Zach:Shut up Jack you don't know what your talking about. Maddalyn I'm taking you out tonight in celebration of you becoming a member of Why Don't We.
Daniel:Or we could all go. Zach looked at Daniel with a stern face.
Daniel:Or just the two of you can go. I looked at Zach and giggled which I usually don't do.
Maddalyn:Sounds good to me I can come over to your house and pick you up if you want me to.
Zach:No I will pick you up in MY car. He emphized my as in he was showing of or something but I don't really care if he has a car or not and I do like him and I guess he likes me by the way he acts around me and is just scared to ask me on a date in front of the guys but it's whatever to me. Now I'm in a band with five guys and I'm the only girl this could be fun.

Zach's POV
Ok I'm nervous around her and couldn't just come out and ask her on a date so a celebration dinner is all I could think of. The guys know I like her I guess but how could you not like her she's perfect inside and out. I get an Uber back to my place and quickly get ready. I found a suit and tie because the guys and I wore them a lot especially to red carpets and put it on I decided no tie and half way buttoned I tried doing my hair but it's so long I can't do much with it so I brushed it and tried makin it look as nice as possible then I grabbed my keys,phone,and wallet and headed to Maddalyn's apartment.

Maddalyn's POV
Zach said we were going to Saddle Ranch which is kind of fancy so I put on a simple black dress and black heels I didn't do anything dramatic with my makeup and curled my hair a bit I grabbed my phone and went and sat on my couch and waited for Zach. About 25 minutes later I heard a knock on the door and opened it to see Zach smiling and holding roses my favorite I took them from his hand and put them in a vase of water and we headed out to Zach's car. It's a nice car not gonna lie. He opened the door for me and I thanked him as I got in he walked to the other side of the car and got in and started the car. We were driving down the road and Zach looked really nervous he had one hand on the wheel and his other on his knee tapping his fingers. I grabbed his hand that was on his knee and held it his face got red and he glanced over at me I looked at him and I say my face turned red as well. I looked back out the window and felt his hand leave mine and he rested it on my thigh. I felt my cheeks get really hot. What is this guy doing to me?

Zach's POV
I was holding Maddalyn's hand but my heart took over and I let go of her hand and placed it on her thigh she glanced down and she didn't seem uncomfortable concidering she didn't say anything or remove my hand she just looked out the window and I saw her start to blush and I accidently smirked and I guess she saw because she raised a eyebrow looking at me.
Zach:What, you like what you see?
Maddalyn:Why are you smirking?
Zach:Good question, maybe because I made you blush.
Maddalyn:Shut up my cheeks are naturally rosey.
Zach:Sure. I said and playfully rolled my eyes and put them back on the road.

Maddalyn's POV
We finally arived at Saddle Ranch and I went to open my door but Zach stoped me.
Zach:I'll get it a pretty girl like you doesn't open doors.
Maddalyn:Ok then. As soon as Zach got out of the car people started coming over to him and there was a lot of talking and flashing lights. Zach opened my door and held his hand out I grabbed it and we walked to the entrace of the restaraunt.
Papparazzi:Zach is this your new girl friend?
Zach:Nope still single she's my friend we're getting dinner. It hurt to hear Zach call me his friend but it's the public and I know I don't want everyone up in buisness so I get it. Zach leand over and whispered in my ear and told me he had to tell me something when we were away from the Papparazzi.
Papparazzi:Ok well I'm going to let you guys go and enjoy your night.
Zach:Thank you. He said a little annoyed and we walked in and got a seat. We ordered our food and as we waited Zach and I were talking.
Zach:Maddalyn?
Maddalyn:Hm?
Zach:Your not my friend your more than that your my best friend.
Maddalyn:Your my best friend to Zach. We ate our dinner and left because Zach was starting to get pretty annoyed with people interupting our dinner but he was nice and talked with his fans. We got back in his car and he started driving back to his place. His hand immedently went to my thigh.
Zach:It's late you can stay with me tonight if you want?
Maddalyn:That's fine with me. I said and we continued down the road until we got to a stop light that's when I got a urge do something.

Zach's POV
We pulled to a stop at the stop light and I don't know why but I had the sudden urge to say something to her.
