KIM'S WATCH HAD BEEN BEEPING ON HER NIGHTSTAND AND SHE GASPED ONCE SHE HAD SEEN THE EMERGENCY ALERT. She got up at once, tossing on her unicorn slippers and rushing to Junk 'N Stuff. She had gone through the tubes and saw that Henry, Charlotte and Jasper were already there.
"I came as soon as I heard! What's going on?" Kim questioned. "I don't know!" Henry exclaimed. "Where's Ray?" Charlotte asked. "He's gotta be around here somewhere!" Jasper told.
"Ray?!" The four exclaimed, trying to look for him. Kim was really worried. What if something had happened to him and she was too late? Her worry ended when she saw Ray stroll in with an apron and with a platter in front of him.
The four teenagers look at him in confusion. "Who wants a snack?!" Ray asked.
"What?" Henry questioned.
"Who wants a snack?" Ray repeated.
"Dude!" Henry yelled, raising his arms.
"Let me." Charlotte interfered. "Let us." Kim corrected.
"Hey!" Charlotte yelled as soon as she approached Ray. "Hey!" Ray exclaimed back. "It's ten after midnight, mister! We all have to sleep sometimes y'know!" Kim yelled, shoving her phone in Ray's face. "Yeah!" "Well, why did you send us all the doomsday signals?" Charlotte questioned.
"'Cause I wanted to make sure all of you guys came over." Ray stated.
"Dude!" "What?" "Dude!" "Yeah!" "Dude!" "Hey." "You told us that the doomsday signal was only for a major crisis!" Henry told. "Yeah, we thought something happened to you, man!" Kim agreed. "Yeah, life or death situation?" Charlotte reminded.
Ray looked at the teenagers in front of him. "Well, you are gonna die." The four teens clamored. "When... you try my new recipe for..." Ray removed the top of his plate. "Captain Corndogs!" Kim sees the mini-corndogs.
Henry wipes his mouth and looks at his boss in disbelief. "Captain Corndogs?" "Yeah!"
"So, you called us all here just to try your new Captain Corndogs?" Jasper questioned.
"Uh, yeah." Ray nodded.
Kim rolls her eyes at her man-child of a boss.
"This is not a life or death situation!" Charlotte tells, sitting over at the monitors. "Yeah, it is." Henry spoke. "Seriously." Kim furrowed her eyebrows at Henry.
