Nico's POV
I watched Will leave my cabin and close the door. I didn't want him to leave but I guess he's obviously too busy. I sigh and sit down on the bed with a pen and the notebook that was sitting on my desk.
I really should start putting it somewhere different. Oh my gods! What If Will saw it and read some stuff that I wrote. Oh no. Gods I really hope he didn't read anything.
Just as I was about to open the book a loud knock came from the door followed by a familiar voice.
"Nico?! Will told us you were in here. Can we come in?" It was Piper. I quickly shoved the notebook under my pillow before answering.
"Yeah, come in." One by one my friends filed in. First Piper, then Jason, then Hazel, then Frank, then Percy and finally, Annabeth.
Jason was smirking at me like he always does after Will and I finish hanging out.
"So, how you feeling?" Hazel sat down beside me and placed a hand on my knee.
"Me? I'm fine." Annabeth raised an eyebrow. "You sure? Cause Will never left your cabin. He was in here the whole time, 'checking up on you' " she made quotation marks with her fingers and smirked. I felt my cheeks heat up and I glared at her. "He's my doctor. What do you expect?" Jason laughed. "You sure about that Neeks? He doesn't seem like he's just your doctor." I glared at Jason. "Did you guys just come here to talk about Will or did you want something?" Hazel smiled kindly. Percy opened his mouth to say something but Piper cut him off. "Let's let Nico rest. I'm sure he's tired." She winked at me and smirked before ushering everyone out the door.
It was only when the door closed and everyone had left that I realised what Piper was hinting at.
My face heated up. "Ugh, why do they always have to bug me about him." I grabbed my notebook and walked over to my dresser. I opened a drawer, shoved the notebook under all the clothes and slammed the drawer shut.
The bell signalling dinner rang out. I sighed and walked out of my dark cabin.
I walked to the dining pavilion alone. Well, I was until someone wrapped their arm around my shoulders.
"Hey there, Death boy." My face heated up at the contact and I looked up at the blonde teen. "I thought I told you not to call me that" He laughed.
"Ah yes, you did but you see, I don't care." I rolled my eyes and continued walking only this time with Wills arm around me. I felt like I should pull away but of course me being my usual idiotic self, I didn't.

I could feel someone's eyes on the back of my head so instinctively I looked behind me and of course, walking behind us is the one and only, Jason Grace. He's smirking at me. I shot him my famous death glare and looked back in front of me. We reached the pavilion doors and Will took his arm away and opened the door. He held it open and smirked at me. I rolled my eyes in response and walked over to the Hades table where Hazel was already sitting.
She smiled at me as I sat across from her.
"Hey, you coming to the campfire tonight?" She looked at me with pleading eyes. I smiled slightly. "Do I have to?" I started picking at my meal. "Yes! It's my last night here before heading back to New Rome with Frank. I want to say goodbye tonight since we are leaving really early in the morning." I sighed. "Ok, fine. I'll come." She grinned. "Oh! Can you also sing? Pleaseeeee?" She looked at me with puppy dog eyes. "What?! No! Are you crazy?!" I nearly shout. She rolled her eye and then smirked. "Please, you can serenade Willlll." She dragged out his name. I glared at her and looked down at my food
so she wouldn't see my flaming red cheeks. And why would I do that?" I could tell she rolled her eyes. "It's obvious you like him." She flicks my forehead lightly. "And it's obvious that he-"
"Doesn't like me that way." I cut her off. She rolled her eyes. "Ok fine, believe whatever you want but Will....Oh look! Here he comes now." My head snapped up and sure enough Will Solace was walking towards us smiling. I looked back down at my food and continued eating. Hazel giggled quietly and I could hear some mischief in there.
When Will was finally in hearing range she said to me. "You should soooo sing at the fire tonight." I shot her my all-to-famous death stare.
Will sat down beside me. "I second that idea." I glared at him and then at Hazel again.
"I'm not singing at the fire tonight." Will laughed and poked my cheek. "Yes you are."
"No, I'm not." Will smirked and poked my cheek again. "Yes, you are. Doctored orders." I rolled my eyes. "You can't use doctors orders with this. It's nothing to do with medical stuff." He grinned. "Sure I can. Just you watch." He winked at me and walked away.

Will pushed me to a seat closer to the fire. "Sit." He sat down on the seat next to where he told me to. "But-" he waved his hand, cutting me off. I sat down beside him relunctly.

And so the camp fire began. People sang, laughed, mucked around. It was almost over. Just a couple more songs and I can leave. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Will give a small wave to Hazel and she nodded and turned to piper and whispered something in her ear. Her eyes lit up and she whispered it to Jason. He laughed quietly and told Frank, Percy and Annabeth. They all laughed quietly and Hazel got up and walked to Chiron.
She whispered in his ear and he looked at her confused. She nodded and walked back to her seat. We made eye contact and she winked before looking at Chiron.
He cleared his throat. "The next person to sing a song is, Nico Di Angelo." My eyes widened and I turned my attention back to my friends who were smiling encouragingly at me. I turned to Will who smirked. "Told you I could use doctors orders." I was too shocked to say anything. An Apollo kid handed me a guitar. I bit my lip and placed my hands on the right chords. I strummed the chords to a song and started to sing.
{A/N the song is called 'Change my mind' by one direction}

The end of the night
We should say goodbye
But we carry on
While everyone's gone

Never felt like this before
Are we friends or are we more?
As I'm walking towards the door
I'm not sure

But baby if you say you want me to stay
I'll change my mind
'Cause I don't wanna know I'm walking away
If you'll be mine
Won't go, won't go
So baby if you say you want me to stay, stay for the night
I'll change my mind.

Lean in when you laugh,
We take photographs
There's no music on
But we dance along
Never felt like this before
Are we friends or are we more?
As I'm walking towards the door
I'm not sure.

But baby if you say you want me to stay
I'll change my mind
'Cause I don't wanna know I'm walking away
If you'll be mine
Won't go, won't go
So baby if you say you want me to stay, stay for the night
I'll change my mind.

I'll change my mind.

Baby if you say you want me to stay
I'll change my mind

But baby if you say you want me to stay
I'll change my mind
'Cause I don't wanna know I'm walking away
If you'll be mine
Won't go, won't go
So baby if you say you want me to stay, stay for the night
I'll change my mind.

Wills POV
My eyes widened. Nico sounded like a freaking angel! I could tell everyone else was just as shocked as I was. Well everyone except for Hazel, who was grinning from ear to ear.

But baby if you say you want me to stay
I'll change my mind
'Cause I don't wanna know I'm walking away
If you'll be mine
Won't go, won't go
So baby if you say you want me to stay, stay for the night
I'll change my mind.

He looked around nervously after the song. The whole camp broke out into a loud round of applause. He looked shocked at the response and his cheeks turned a light pink.
Hazel and the rest of the 7 (not including Leo) rushed over and started patting his back. Once everyone had gone back to their seats I placed a hand on his shoulder. He looked up at me. "That. Was amazing." I grinned at him. He smiled shyly and looked away. "Thanks..." He said quietly.
The camp fire ended and campers started heading back to their cabins. A few stopped to praise Nico, who's cheeks turned pink each time. Hazel walked over to us and hugged her brother. She whispered something in his ear and his cheeks turned bright red. She laughed and kissed his cheek. "I love you so much. Ok?" He nodded. "I love you too, Hazel" she smiled and her eyes got watery. "Good luck with... That problem." She winked. "I'll see you soon." He nodded and hugged her tightly. The whole scene was so cute, I thought I was going to cry. Hazel said a quick goodbye to me and some other campers and ran over to Frank.
I turned to Nico who's eyes were watery. I wrapped a arm around his small shoulders. "You'll see her again soon." He nodded and leaned in slightly to my chest. I blushed faintly.
"Who was the song for?" Whoops. Hopefully he didn't hear the jealousy in my voice.
He pulled away and stood up. "That doesn't matter." I stood up also and walked beside him to his cabin. "Obviously it does. If you sang a song for them." He laughed bitterly. "Hm, yeah but that person probably doesn't like me back." His voice turned bitter and he walked faster. "Hey! Nico! Wait!" I jogged after him and caught his wrist. I spun him around so he was facing me. "I'm sure they do. Anyone would be lucky to have you." He pulled away and walked to his cabin door.
"Good night, Will." He walked inside and shut the cabin door before I could respond.
"Good night, Nico..." I turned away from the dark cabin and walked to the Apollo cabin.
