Chapter 13

I don't think I ever said it but Evelyn's godly parent is Hecate. Also, I have no idea if this is chapter 12 or 13. oops. im pretty sure its 13. if its not im sorry.

*Will's pov*

"See you later, Death boy." I winked at the smaller boy before turning back to my patient. I heard his retreating footsteps and him muttering about stupid sunshine.
Time flew by as I treated different patients. "Shifts over, Will. You can go do whatever. Or Nico. Your choice." My sister, Karen, winked at me and laughed as I glared at her with pink cheeks. I quickly changed from my green surgeon shirt into my CHB shirt before wandering around camp, looking for Nico.

A scowl formed on my face when I saw Evelyn walking towards me. "Hi, Will. Looking for Nico?" I scowled again and glared at her. "Why do you care?" She threw her head back and laughed. "No need to treat me so bad, Will. I was just going to offer my help. I just saw Nico before." I crossed my arms and looked at her. Her eyes were staring into mine innocently. Her lips in a small smile. "Come on. I'll take you to him." She turned on her heel and started walking in the direction of the sword fighting arena. After hesitating for a moment I jogged to catch up with her. I may not like her but if she knows where Nico is then im going to follow her. She lead me in and what I saw made me freeze. Nico had Derek pinned against the wall. Their lips attached. "O-oh my" Evelyn stuttered, her voice filled with fake shock. "What the hell did you do?" I spoke through gritted teeth. I blinked back the tears. "I didn't do anything. I guess Nico just doesn't love you." Evelyn's eyes traveled back to the two boys and she nudged my arm. "Their coming over." I quickly turn around and see Nico and Derek walking towards us, their arms linked. I clenched my fists. As they walked past Nico glanced up at me. His eyes were a lighter brown and it looked like there was specks of pink scattered in them. When we made eye contact their flickered back to their normal colour before returning to the colour they were before. I faced Evelyn and pushed her against the wall. "What did you do?!" Evelyn looked up at me calmly. "I told you before. I didn't do anything." Pushing her aside, I run towards the forest. The tears finally streaming down my face. I screamed. I screamed and cried and kicked a large rock. This shouldn't be happening!
I should of known this would happen. I slammed my hand against the rock, making blood drip from my palm. Why would he do this? I thought he loved me.

*Nicos pov*

After visiting Will at the infirmary I decided to go train in the arena. I walked into the arena and took out my sword. Dummys lined the far wall. I made my way to a dummy and went to slice at it but stopped when a obviously fake cough came from behind me. I spun around and pointed my sword at the intruder. A growl escaped my lips when I saw it was Derek. "What do you want?" I spat, the tip of my sowrd pointed at his chest. "I just wanted to talk." slowly, I sheath my sword. "Well, if you want to talk. talk." my eyes narrowed. He took a step forward and stared right into my eyes. His eyes changed from different colours. from green, to pink, to puple and to blue. I felt like I was being pulled to sleep. "Kiss me." My head spun as I leaned into kiss him. My mind screamed at me to stop. To run. But my body didn't listen. Our lips meant and I spun us around and pinned him to the wall. My mind was screaming. It told me this was wrong and I should be doing this to Will not Derek. My body seemed to have a mind of its own. I heard voices coming from the entrace but I ignored them. After a while I pulled away to breathe. "Let's go for a walk along the beach." I linked my arm in his and walked towards the entrance. Two people stood there arguing. A girl with purple hair. Evelyn. Evelyn was arguing with a tall, tanned, blonde guy. Will. My mind screamed again. Evelyn seemed to notice us walking towards them and told Will. He turned around and looked at me. I could see his eyes looked watery and his fists were clenched. We walked past them. My mind screamed to stop and hug Will but again my body didn't listen. Derek practically dragged me to the beach for our walk. This is going to be bad.

*Will's pov* (A/N Lots of pov changes. sorry)

After I stopped crying and couldn't cry anymore I walked out of the woods and down the path towards the Apollo cabin. As I made my way to the bright coloured cabin I saw a familiar dark haired boy walking towards me. Maybe he'll explain what happened. Maybe apologise. Nico stopped infront of me and looked up at me. His eyes were the normal dark brown that they were supposed to be. "I'm so sorry Will. I was put under a spell by Derek. I love you. Please forgive me." I smiled at him and pulled him into a hug. "Of course I forgive you. I'm going to kill Derek for doing this to you." Nico looked up at me smiling. I captured his lips in mine and pulled him closer. I heard a gasp from behind me and pulled away to turn around. There stood Nico. His mouth hung open and his eyes watered. Wait...if Nico is there then who was I kissing? I turned around quickly and saw the Nico I had been kissing shimmer. Eveyn appeared and giggled. "You're a pretty good kisser." I turned around and saw Nico running to the Hades cabin. No...no no no.

*Nicos pov*

A couple hours after my ecounter with Derek I snapped out of the speel and got full control of my body back. I have to go and explain wht happened to Will. I took of running in search for my boyfriend. I ran towards the Apollo cabin but stopped short when I saw something I didn't want to see. Will was kissing Evelyn. Why? What? A gasp escaped my lips and Will quickly pulled away and turned around. His eyes filled with confusion as he saw me. He turned back to Evelyn and froze. I didn't see what happned next because i was already running to my cabin. I slammed my door shut and got a suitcase out. Stupid Will. Stupid Derek. Stupid Evelyn. Stupid me. Why did I ever believe Will loved me? I shoved clothes into the suitcase and zipped it up. I took one final look around the cabin before disolving into the shadows.
