Chapter 10

6 months later

In the morning I woke up to feeling something kicking the inside of my stomach. I immediately knew it was the baby so I put my hand on my stomach and started rubbing it softly.

I walked downstairs to see my mom cooking breakfast she saw me walk down and smiled. I already told her I was pregnant and Miles was the father along time ago She was happy and unhappy about the news but over all she was happy to be a grandma.

I sat down at the table and waited for her to finish cooking. She put the food on a plate and gave it to me I smiled and thanked her she only nodded and went upstairs. I finished eating and washed my plate.

I put my shoes on and left out the front door. I walked to Miles house since it was just basically down the street. I finally arrived to his house and knocked on the door.

Miles little sister Flora opened the door she ran over to me and hugged me softly trying not to hurt the baby. She was happy that I was going to have a baby now she was going to be an aunt a really young one.

I walked in and asked her where Miles was she gave looked worried and said

Miles has been in his room all day and hasn't came out.''

I felt worried as soon as she said that so I ran upstairs I heard low screams coming from one of the bedrooms. I opened the door to every bedroom until I found the one Miles was in I was shocked when I opened the door.

Miles was getting choked by an invisible figure which looked like a man. I quickly grabbed a vase that I found on a dresser next to me and threw it at the figure that pissed it off then the figure let go of Miles and started coming closer and closer to me.

I felt really scared not knowing what to do then the figure started choking me I couldn't breathe I felt my pulse starting to become slower and slower until I blacked out.

I woke up to seeing Miles Flora and Kate above me. As soon as Miles saw me wake up he pulled me into a hug I felt safe and warm in his embrace. He then let go and said

I am so glad that you and our baby are okay.''

I smiled at Miles but then told him to explain told him to explain everything to me. He nodded and grabbed my hand leading me upstairs to his bedroom. Once we got to Miles room I sat on his bed waiting for him to explain everything that just happened to me.

He sat on the bed next to me and gave me nervous look. Then he said are ready to know the truth about me and this house?

I nodded not knowing that the truth was more darker and sinister..
