This special is pretty short as I wasn't sure what to right but wanted to give you something :)
THIRD PERSON
Team had been setting up the New Years party with his friends and colleagues all day. It had finally payed off when they all gathered together with drinks in their hands.
The room was filled with cheers and laughter. Everyone with there friends or lovers, but team wasn't he was alone, he wished he wasn't but he was. Team wished his boyfriend was here, he missed him like crazy. Team hadn't seen win in about 4 months, and it was killing him. He had gone through some real lows with win there but managed to get through it, with the thought of win and wanting to be strong for him.
The two had FaceTime every time they had gotten the chance whether it be at 1 in the morning or 3 in the afternoon. They had always found time considering they had different time zones.
Team had messaged his boyfriend
Team: happy new year!
Win: happy new year baby I miss you!
Team : I miss you more 😔🥰 I wish you were here with me
Win: I will be soon I promise baby
That had been the end of their conversation as team was invited to the roof with some of his colleagues.
Team was staring at the night sky admiring the stars and the moon before it was lit up with explosions of colour, and loud noise that could make a deaf man go even deafer, if stood close enough.
Time had passed by it was almost midnight. 3 minutes left. 3 minutes till 2021. Hopefully a better year than last.
Team stood alone, going to welcome a new year by himself in a long time. To be honest team had miss the feeling of win wrapping his arms around him, kissing him as soon as the clock stuck 12, overall he missed win.
Little did team know that a certain someone was stood behind him waiting for him to turn around, to see his reaction. It didn't come soon enough though.
Team felt someone tap on his shoulder, left to be exact. He turned around out of curiosity, surprised to see his boyfriend, the one he'd missed for months on end.
"Win!...you're here how?!?"
"I could t let you be alone on New Years now could I?" It was more of a rhetorical question, team hasn't answered. He was going to wrap his arms around his boyfriend but win had other plans.
Win got down on one knee, pulled a box out of his pocket, opened it and there was a sliver ring. "Team, baby. Will you be my husband and marry me?"
Team was in shock not ever had it crossed him mind that one day win would ask him to marry him but here he was, on one knee proposing to him.
"Yess of course I'll marry you!"
Win had put the silver ring on teams ring finger, he stood up and kissed team on his lips. Cheers and clapping could be heard all around them. Fireworks exploding in the background, setting the perfect scene for a proposal. The two had pulled away from one another.
Win and teams eyes caught in a loving stare, a hold no one could break. They had a bond no one could break and that wasn't going to change not now, not ever.
"Best start to 2021 ever, I couldn't of wished for it any other way"
"Nor could of I"
