Chapter 1

Stacey couldn't believe what the doctor had just said to her

"Congratulations Miss you are 3 months pregnant"

The words kept playing in her head like some broken record off the 80's

Why is this happening to me? How comes I never noticed ? All this time i  have been pregnant...why now?

She kept asking herself, regret killing her slowly. This is not what she wanted..NO....not now at least

Everything started coming back to her mind clearly as if it had happened yesterday

She recalled how for the past three years she had been inlove with Justin Kriss

The man of every girl's dream, well she was the woman of every man's dream as well but she had only loved one man all her life Justin

They did love each other dearly.Everyone was always envious of what they had back at campus

She thought they would spend the rest of their life together,that is after Justin suggested they get married to make her legally his

She was extremely excited and they arranged a civil marriage,  through the artoney general .A simple civil marriage,it was not a big wedding that she had always dreamt for her own future,but it was still worth it

She now legally belonged to him,she recalled how justin had still promised her of a grand wedding once they finish their studies , but things didnt work as they had planned

Tears were now flowing freely at her eyes as she sat on her bed ,  as she recalled the betrayal she would never be able to put behind,  the heartbreak of her life time

"You cant do this Justin don't you love me anymore?" she said in a pleading

"No stacey I do love you.... but I have to do this , my dad wont take it lightly if I disobey him and you know this , Stacey please" he was holding her hands rubbing them ever so softly as if afraid he would accidentally break them

"Then lets elope besides we are already married, we can always find something to do " Her eyes glazed with unshed tears

"No stacey my dad will look for me and he will find us, you know how powerfull he is we can't take this risk my love"

"Please do it for our love Justin i can't lose you to another woman please"

Tears fell freely from her eyeballs like an overflowing sink.She was hurt,  really hurt, all her life no one had loved her genuinly,her dad had passed away when she was young leaving her to her mother who had always made life difficult for her

A woman who didn't even bother paying for her fees, she was lucky she had gotten a scholarship,for her mother had completely neglected her and now the man she loved,her husband was going to leave her because of a bussines deal his dad wanted

Could this get any worse?

"We can still meet, and continue  this behind their backs,you will still remain to be my first wife

She will take second place and besides,no one can never take your place in my heart Stacey you will forever be the woman I love"

"But you want me to act as your mistress!!??!"

"Thats now my worth Justin? You say you love me but you can't fight for us?"

" How ? Tell me how???" She yelled throwing her arms up in frustration

How could he say that!!!Was his love even genuine?!

"Stacey I can't dissappoint my dad he needs this and if I don't do as he asks I will lose everything I have dreamnt of...I have worked for....I have studied for i just can't please my love understand me"
