JAZMINE.

I looked up at the sky as the phone rang. I walked to the car and he picked up.

"Hey." I said quickly. Gosh that sounded too desperate or nervous.

"Hey, what's up?" He asked. I got in the car and closed the door.

"Uh, nothing." I chuckled and let out a heavy breath.

"Yeah, alright. What's going on baby girl?" He said and I smiled a little, although he couldn't see me.

"Alright, can you come over? At my house?" I asked. He went silent but I can guarantee you he's smiling.

"Alright, I'll be there." He said and I bit my lip smiling.

"Just let me know when you there." I said.

"Wait, where are you know?" He asked. I could hear him moving around.

"I'm about to leave my grandparents house." I remembered why I called him in the first place. "Don't get comfortable talking to me. Just be at my house today." I said and dropped the call.

That was probably rude. Yeah.

I started the car and drove off.

~~~
I walked into the living room and stopped dead in my tracks. My dad looked like he was about to... cause some chaos.
"Dad?" I asked and he looked at me. I looked at mom and she crossed her arms.
"Why didnt you tell us?" Dad asked, seriousness plastered all over his face.
"What are you talking about?" I asked
"Don't play dumb, Jazmine." Dad said and I looked to the side.
"I'm not playing dumb, what are you talking about, dad?"
"Jazmine."
"Dad."
"Your grandma just called your mother, you know what that means." He said. I looked around and sighed.
"What does it mean?" I asked and mom stepped forward.
"Jazzy, stop playing around." Mom said.
"I-I. Mom come on." I should have known nana was gonna call mom. I was expecting it.
"Since you don't know. Nana called me and told me." She said and I scrunched my face.
"Told you... what?"
"About Jahking. And what he did." Dad said and I raised my eyebrows.
Time to get my head in the game. Dad is not one to mess with.
"What did he do?"
"Jazmine. Little girl, don't play with me." Mom said
"Mom, I'm not playing."
"Okay, so you've been in a state the last week, right?" She asked and I nodded cautiously.
"I don't see what that got to do with anything." I said.
"It's because Jahking was in bed with another girl." Dad said and I sighed and clenched my jaw.
Just thinking about it makes me mad. I don't wanna be reminded of it.
"It's clear. It's the truth and you decided to hide it from us. Why? Jazmine you were supposed to talk to us and you wanted to suffer alone." Dad said and I crossed my arms.
"My bad." I said.
"I don't want you near Jahking. I don't want him in this house." He said and I raised my eyebrows.
