Chloe was walking in the beach where she saw him. He had just dissaperaed after they caught the murder, she was worried something happened to him. She took off her shoes and while making her way towards him, she could feel the warm sand between her toes, it was very relaxing after what she had been through with the precinct.
"Hey" Chloe smiled at him.
She knew that he wasn't the Lucifer he usually was, she Lucifer she knew was cheerful, annoying,and charming devil.
"Are you okay " Chloe asked concerned.
"Yeah, I just come here to clear my mind "
Chloe could hear the hurt in his voice. They both look at the beautiful sunset together in silence, it wasn't a bad type of quiet but a comfortable one. All they could hear is the waves crashing against the rocks.
"Are you going to LUX soon "
Chloe tried breaking the silence,
"I got Maze looking after it " Lucifer responded. "Okay well I should head home"
She didn't really want to go home, she wanted to stay there with him. She started walking towards her cat, when she heard him, "Detective wait, can you stay here with me just for a bit longer"
Chloe didn't want to admit it but she was happy that she almost jumped for joy.
"Umm....yeah sure why not, the view is gorgeous anyway"
They both sat holding hands. His sent of whiskey and cherries got stronger as closer she got. She knew that in that moment holding his hand, just being with him, she found her true happiness. ❤
