Disclamer: This is not based on any actual events, I doubt this is even close to what actually happened when they met, I just thought mine was cuter. Also the lyrics from the song go perfect with them, just saying. And yes I know now that this is from the 60's but still, it fits to well to fix it.

3rd POV

Lin was sat at a local 50s styled diner shop in downtown new York on his computer, writing songs for Hamilton, his newest musical in the working, when he got a text from his wife, Vannesa.

Vanessa:Get home now.

This was strange. He quickly gathered his belongings and shoved them haphazardly into his bag. He saw a paper of his and went to pick it up, but someone had already retrieved it and was holding it out in front of him.

"You-you dropped this."

Said the person holding out the paper. He had not looked up from the hand holding the paper. As he looked up to see what face was the owner of such a pretty voice, the song 'Hey, Lover!' Came on. The man who was holding the paper was even more pretty then his voice.

"Hey Hey Hey lover!"

Lin grabbed the paper from the man's hand and smiled, a slight blush on his cheeks as he did.

"you don't have to be a king."

"Thank you sir."

Said lin, looking away.

"Hey, hey, hey lover!"

The man smiled, holding out his hand for Lin to shake. He took it as the man said

"Jonathon groff."

He said.

"You don't have to have a thing."

"Lin-manuel-miranda."

Lin said with a little smile.

"For I'll be satisfied, as long as your my guy."

"I'm so sorry, I must be going. uh-oh! here!"

Lin said, scribbling his number on a napkin.

"Just give me true love and understanding, true love and understanding."

Jonathan smiled at Lin.

"Thank you Lin. I'll see you around, yeah?"

Lin nodded and with that he left the diner. He got into his car and quickly drove home. As he was driving, he got a text.

Unknown number: hey, it's jonathan.

He smiled and made a mental note to add Jonathan into his phone.

He got home and made quick work of grabbing his bag, before making his way to his front door. He opened it and walked in to see Vanessa with a pale face, hands behind her back.

"Nessa, what's wrong?"

Lin asked walking up to her. She slowly retreated her hand from behind her back and held up a positive pregnancy test in her shaky hand. Lins worried face split into a wide grin as his wife's face came back to its original color.

"Yes yes yes yes! I'm gonna be a dad!"
