Over the next few weeks, Lin was excited out of his mind. He finished Hamilton, and of course had a baby on the way. Lin stood up fully after finishing hanging flyers up for Hamilton. He had just finished writing Hamilton, and all he needed a cast for it. As he was walking home, he heard his phone go off.
Jonny: hey, wanna hang out?
He called Vannesa to see if she was ok with it and she said it was fine.
Linen: sure
Jonny: Kay, meet me at the diner.
Lin knew exactly where to go. He walked down a good 4 blocks before arriving at the diner. When Lin walked in, he was greeted by the song jailhouse rock by elvis. He smiled when he saw Jon.
"Hey." Lin said, sitting next to groff, making the humming Jonathan stop to greet him.
"Like this song?" Asked Lin.
"It's good, and who can resist the charms of elvis?" Asked groff.
"Fair enough." Lin says before joining in with the song. "You're the cutest jailbird I ever did see i sure would be delighted with your company, come on and do the Jailhouse Rock with me." Lin sung.
Lin swore he saw Jon blush, but brushed it off as a figment of his imagination. Jon was blushing though, and he didnt know why.
"Hey groff guess what?" Lin said.
" What miranda?" He answered.
"I'm gonna be a dad!" Jon was hurt, but he pushed it back and smiled widely "congrats man!" He felt some feeling that he couldn't explain. He only knew Lin for a few days, so why did he feel this way?
"Why don't we get to know each other ?" Lin asked.
"Sure!" Said jon.
"Favorite color?" Asked Lin.
"Blue. Yours?"
"Same. Occupation?"
"Acting, though I'm working on anything right now."
"Well, do you want a possible job?"
"Of course!"
"Can you do a good British accent while singing?"
"Yeah."
"Do you have good balance?"
"I would say."
"Do you sing and are you good at singing?"
"I can sing, but it's up to you if I can sing good."
"How would you feel about playing a part in a musical about alexander hamilton?"
"Sounds strange, but I'd be down."
"What if that part was king George the third?"
"That's sounds fun."
"Good, drop by the richard Rodgers theater on Saturday for auditions." Lin said finishing his interview style questions. A waitress came over on roller skates and asked for there orders. Lin couldn't help but notice the way the waitress stared at jonathan.
"I'll get the honey dipped chicken."
"I'll get a bacon and tomato samwich."
"Oh and a chocolate milkshake."
"Kay I'll be back in a few minutes with your orders."
They sat and chatted for a while before the waitress came back with they're orders.
