I read the poem to her and her face was priceless. I swear Maya Angelou was such an inspirational person to me. Plus she loved Maya Angelou too so I thought it would be better if I read a poem to her.

"Why did u-" she ask

"Because I wanted u to know I'm serious" I interrupted

"But still, u didn't have to" she says to me

"But I wanted to" I said to her looking into her eyes. She tried to hide the pain but I had already saw it. This is when I knew I really hurt this girl...and that hurt me.

Chyna POV

As he read the poem to me I started to think about a lot, did he really change or was this all a act. As he looked into my eyes and I looked into his I just wanted to cry.

"I think its time for me to go" I tell him getting up

"Wait" he says getting up following me

"What" I ask

"I just want u to know... Everything I did..everything.. I'm sorry" he says pulling me for a hug. I was so weak I couldn't even fight for him to get off of me.

"Ok" I said finally pulling away and leaving the library. Shit started to get awkward so I had to leave.

Chris pov

I called this nigga Rico's phone bout 10 times and I got no answer. Wassup with this nigga mane. We got niggas tryna steal our drugs and money and he no where to be found... Got a nigga thinking.

"Is he setting me up" I ask myself

"Nah we been buddies since diapers he would never do that to be" I said to myself once again.

Rico POV

Aye its ya nigga ricooo. I know Chris would prolly be looking for me by now. Truth is I'm hiding from everybody. I send one of the boys from the gang to try and steal some equipment but this nigga failed. He nearly got caught. He just left the safe open but it ain't over. This is only the beginning

Jason POV

I think God is tryna tell me something because in all my classes I'm sitting next to the girl on my dreams. Ever since the library she wouldn't even look my way.

"Chyna u ok" I ask her. She had been acting weird

"Yea" she said putting her head down. A few minutes later she ask the teacher to go to the bathroom. I didn't care enough to ask and I just followed Chyna call me a creep ion care but I knew something was wrong. She was walking until she fell.

"Chyna wats wrong" I said picking her up

"Nothing ..my head is just killing me" she tells me

"I'm gone take u to the hospital" I tell her

"No.. No I'm good I will just go home" she said trying to walk again.

"U ain't driving in this condition" I said putting her in my car. She gave me the directions to where she was going. This house looked so familiar. Its her grandma's house.

"Ahh man this brings back so much memories" I tell her lifting her up and opening the door

"Yea I guess" she said sitting on the couch

"Thank u for dropping me" she says to me

"No problem, do u need anything else" I ask

"No thank u" she says getting a blanket. Lord knows how much I wanted to just kiss her but I knew she wouldn't allow me so I made sure she was ok and left.

Chyna POV

I really thought he was gonna try something. I think he really did change. I called Chris and told him I was at my grandmother's house. He said he was gonna pick me up.. meanwhile I'm just gonna rest and think.
