Chapter 10| ʙᴏʏ ᴏʜ ʙᴏʏ

Ariana's POV.

ᴍᴏʙɪʟᴇ, ᴀʟᴀʙᴀᴍᴀ

I stepped off my jet pushing my shades on my face as I was lead out to the suv with my luggage.

"Ariana, baby I know you're an adult and more than capable of handling yourself. I just think it would have been nice if you would have told someone."

"Sorry mom, I had something very important to take care of." I spoke simply moving my hair from my face.

Frankie has such a big fucking mouth. He had one job.

I just sighed and rolled my eyes as she went on and on about how "irresponsible" it was for me to leave like that. As if I needed to tell her my every move.

"Ok mom. But like you said, I'm an adult and things are fine ok."

"I know dear, but I'm a parent so it's my job to worry."

"Yes I know. But how did you know about me leaving, I told Frankie not to say anything."

"Ha yeah right. That was your own fault Ariana, you know your brother. He can't hold water, he told me everything."

I stopped walking. "Umm wait, what do you mean by everything?"

Fuck me. I know Frankie has a huge ass mouth but please don't let him have went that far..

"I mean that I know you are going to visit someone who is more than just a friend to you Ariana."

After she said that the phone line went completely silent. I sure as hell was t saying anything and I guess mom was waiting on me to answer her back.

I heard her sigh. "Look I'm happy for you dear, I am. I just want you to be careful."

I sucked in a deep breath and nodded. "I-I know momma, and I will be. I promise."

"As long as your father and I get a chance to meet this lucky man I'll be really happy."

I felt my face grow hot and I slapped my head down in my hand. "Mommm not so soon, ok. He doesn't even know about my feelings yet."

"Well, what are you waiting on? You're an amazing woman Ariana, and any man would be lucky to even have you be interested in them. So I say go for it."

"Aw mom. Thank you." I smiled shyly. That's really sweet of her but I don't even know if he likes me back.

"No problem doll. Now go and win over your man, don't come back without him!" She's definitely been talking to Frankie.

I laughed at her silliness before hanging up. It does make me feel really good to know that I have my family's support.

I'm just nervous because what if he doesn't even feel the same way? Then what will I do?

Trying to calm my own nerves, I decided to just pop my earphones into my ear from the ride.

The car ride seemed really long. I don't know if it was just because I was so deep in thought, or if it was the long ass roads.

But finally, the truck stopped in front of a gorgeous home making me sit up some. It looked like a brand new home.
