George didn't want to talk to Dream. For once he didn't agree with what Dream wants, normally if they didn't originally agree, they would come to one. But Dream wouldn't let him on this one and honestly, he didn't have time to argue or anything, being King has been hard enough as it is.
Although he tries to brush it off, it was hard keeping his strong and brave persona on when he didn't feel like that most of the time. Sometimes he wished Eret was still King so he didn't have to deal with the responsibilities of being neutral when his 2 best friends were not.
Don't get him wrong, he has gotten used to the title of King and he actually started to like it, but he didn't know if he could hold the responsibilities of it. They were overbearing to say the least.
He wanted to schedule a meeting with President Tubbo and talk about the situation at hand but he knew Dream wouldn't let him, which made George start to resent him.
Dream was George's best friend and he knew him like the back of his hand, but he has become unreadable in which George didn't understand. He was being so protective but so distant, so close yet so far. Was it because he was doing his job as knight and didn't want to talk to George but he had to? Is it just because of the fight? George couldn't tell.
He just wanted to make everything right.
He wanted his best friend back.

After a couple days of subtlety ignoring each other as much as they could- which proved very challenging for the both of them- the day finally came for the decision that Tubbo would make, and to no one's surprise, George wasn't allowed to be there.
"Why can't I come? I'm the King, I can at least watch. You're making rules that I should be making." George argued.
"What if Tommy retaliates and tries to fight? What if it goes south and things go wrong? I can't have you there, it's too dangerous. And this doesn't involve you."
"What do you mean this doesn't involve me? It's you getting mad as Tommy doing a stupid prank on my behalf. Plus, it's Tommy and Tubbo, if anything Tubbo will stop him before it goes too far."
"George, listen to me on this once." He put his hands on George's shoulders. "You don't want to be there."
"But I want to be there, I can hold my own, I'm not some princess that needs your protection." He shrugs Dreams hands away.
"George." Dream let out a sigh, he didn't want to fight with him, he didn't want any of this to happen, he was just trying to keep the person he liked, his friend safe. "I know, it's, I'll have Sapnap and Punz around for safety reasons and I just don't want you in the middle of it."
This set George off, normally he was calm and laid back but he can't with this. He felt like everyone treated him like a child just because he wasn't the best fighter, or because he would rather have peace than fighting, he hated it.
"Why do you have to treat me like a fucking kid all the time, you don't care about anyone but yourself! This is because you wanting power right! You want power over Tommy." George basically yelled and walked out of the room slamming the door behind him to officially end the conversation- or argument. George didn't need to hear the answer, he already knew it.

"You ready boys?" Dream asked before leaving the castle. The question was directed to Punz and Sapnap, the backup if anything went south. He knew he could take on Tommy and the bunch easily but it's kind of fun intimidating the kid.
The two boys nodded and they head out. Sapnap was supposed to be by Dream's side and Punz was supposed to go hide for cover so they didn't know they had an extra guy. Sapnap should be enough for Tommy not to even think to fight but who knows, that boy is very courageous. As Dream and Sapnap walked up to the building it was dead silent, both boys were deep in thought.
