Hair: Yudai has warm orange hair that parts in the front.
Eyes: Yudai has light red tareme eyes. They have a ring in them.
Clothing: Yudai always prefers warm and bright colours like red, yellow and orange when it comes to clothes. He rarely wears dull colours, and he usually wears tops with short sleeves, although sometimes he wears three-fourth sleeves (he wears them when he's not feeling very happy). He doesn't dress flashy, but his choice of colours are those that catch the eye. He wears a belt most of the time to strap his bottle onto.
Add. Features: Yudai goes after his father, while undoubtedly inheriting his eyes from his mother. When he has them exposed, he has two fin-like ears.

Personality: Yudai is a very cheerful and positive person. Not to mention dramatic. Yudai loves drama and acts dramatic over little incidents for no reason (comic relief). He's very sensitive, and extremely emotional. Yudai's also very polite to his elders. He loves romance, even (heck, especially) the cheesy kind, he digs it. Underneath, however, lies a very nervous and shaky person. Yudai, in truth, lacks confidence and self-esteem. But that's rooted in his backstory, he is mostly a happy person. Yudai's also a great actor, impressing many with his skills. In a relationship, Yudai would be versatile (mostly submissive).
Likes: Warm colours like light red, water in most forms, fish (as pet or food), drama, romance, feeling worthy/useful, beaches, red lotus flowers.
Dislikes: Arian, bullying, dehydration, feeling useless and pathetic, hot weather, coffee (and other dehydrating foods and drinks), emo posts at three in the morning.
Backstory: Yudai grew up being bullied by a boy called Arian and his cronies. Each day he was bullied until he cried. This went on for the longest time, thinning away Yudai's self esteem. Eventually Ray put an end to it (atleast the bullying on daily basis) when he met Yudai for the first time as he was getting bullied. Becoming inseparable friends along with Chihiro, Yudai began to grow more positive and cheerful. Now he's a happy guy, but he still has a low self-esteem. Bullying has left lasting effects on the boy.
Ambition: Yudai's interest and skills in acting led to his goal of becoming an actor.

Weird Trivia:
● Yudai used to be a very pessimistic, nervous and jumpy kid as a child. Growing up, he is now much more positive and happy. Yudai doesn't like talking about this change however, as deep down he's still the same. He reverts back to this nervous personality when really upset.
● He can transform fully into a merman, and when he does, he has a beautiful red fishtail, the end of the fins tainted yellow. His tail even has a violet shine! And not to mention, Yudai can breathe, see and hear underwater even if he's not taken the form of a merman.
● Yudai has a severe dehydration issue. He describes this as a sort of medical condition, although it's actually because of his merman heredity. This is why Yudai has to drink tons and tons of water, because he loses water easily. He easily passes out when not having sufficient water, and he's been rushed to the ER several times in the past because of severe dehydration. He can't consume foods that dehydrate the body because of this reason.
● Yudai carries a water bottle on him wherever he goes. He also has a comically gigantic bottle of water next to his bed.
● People close to him that call him by first-name basis call him Yuda, not Yudai. His closest friends often struggle to remember that his name actually has an 'i' at the end.
● Reminder to not let the above facts trick you into feeling that Yudai is always pessimistic (cause I feel like that's the impression I'm giving here)! He's actually seen marvellous improvement from his past self, and he's really positive all the time! He does get nervous easily enough, but he really doesn't let it show and is very cheerful. Again, he may have low self-esteem and he may get nervous deep inside at times, but he isn't a sad bum! He's not even upset unless something seriously went off for him.
● Yudai is a good actor. He's praised for his wonderful acting skills by people around him.
Creator's Opinion: Yudai is a character that has changed in wonderful ways throughout his creation and development. I'm very proud of this finalised character, and he's really sweet. I'm proud of Yudai! From his appearance to his personality, I think I have been able to craft a wonderful character! And I hope you see this happy but dramatic boy in the same light as I do (in case you were wondering, yes I too struggle with remembering the 'i' at the end of his name too)!
