First Date

It was a quiet day in Riftside as Mara was sitting on her bed, reading a book but was interrupted when she suddenly heard a knock on her door.

She looks at the door with confusion then set her book to the side before getting up and going to the door where she is met by Pheorakai, her girlfriend.

"Hey Phee, what's up?" She asks but when she sees what Phee has in her hand she can't help but be confused. "I was hoping we can go on a picnic, Daniel told me about them and said they are good for dates." She says.

"Um, sure." Mara says with a small smile before she goes and grabs her key then made her way back to Phee, going out behind her and locking the door to her dorm.

"Is this our first date?" Mara asks, not sure if it was a casual thing or their first date. "I guess it is." Phee says with a smile so bright it's hard for her not to smile as well.

They made their way out of the dorms and towards the park as they hold hands, not caring about any looks and stares they get from the others around them.

Once they got to the park they set up the blanket and also the food and drinks before sitting down together as they begin to talk to each other.

Sadly though their date is cut short when they are approached by Ransom who looks angry when he does as he sees them hanging out and holding hands.

"What do you think you're doing Mara?" Ransom says with an angry tone that makes Phee nervous. "I am having a picnic date with Phee." She says, not caring about hiding it.

"You know that cross class dating is against the rules." He says with a frown. "I don't care, I like Phee and I want to date her and you can't stop me." Mara says, getting courage.

"I don't think you want to get in trouble with the elders if they find out what you are doing and especially if you cross powers with each other." He says.

"I am willing to risk it to be with her." Mara says, making him more mad so he grabs her tightly by her wrist and pulls her up, making her grunt a little bit in anger.

"Fine, risk it and risk getting in trouble." He simply says and walks away so they continue on with their date which was pretty nice and they ate and also did some other things.

Once they were done they head back to Mara's dorm where they talk for a while longer before they say goodbye and Phee heads to her dorm.
