This summer night

The next day
Bettys POV
I woke up to my phone ringing. B: hello A: Betty hi B: mom? Why are you calling me at 6 am A: I was calling to say that I'm throwing you a baby shower for next week B: that's great mom but why at six am A: sorry B: it's ok mom go back to bed A: ok you too bye B: bye J: who was that B: guess J: your mom B: yup J: what did she want B: she is throwing me a baby shower J: do you want that B: I mean I would have liked one but I would have liked to plan it by my self and then she probably already planned all of it J: probably B: I don't just get why she planned it and let me at least plan at least almost all of it and what I didn't want one and I don't even now when or-. I didn't get to finish my sentence because he kissed me. B: what was that for J: because you where babbling and I love you B: I love you too and no more talking about my mom J: come here. I lay on his chest and he rubbed my arm and in that moment I knew that I was with the person who will be by my side forever and be there for me. B: jug J: yea betts B: I love the ring J: I knew you would B: it's beautiful J: like you B: aww I didn't know jughead Jones has a soft side J: only with you and Juliet B: you know your going to be a great dad to Juliet J: thanks and I know that you will be a great mom to Juliet. After that we lay in silence for the most of the morning.
Later that day
Veronicas POV
I was on my way to Bettys to tell her something   when I got a call from Archie.
A: Ronnie I need to talk with you about something
V: what arch
A: meet me at pops
V: but I'm on my way to see Betty
A: I'll meet you there and we can talk there
V: ok bye
A: bye love you
V: love you too
I was almost at Bettys when I saw something go across the road. V: omg what the hell was that I need to hurry. I finally got to Bettys and I saw that Archie was already there. *Knock knock* B: coming, hey v you ready to talk V: yup B: why do you sound so sad V: that's what I want to talk to you about B: we can go in my room V: sure. We walked in to Betty and jugs room and we sat on the bed and then I started crying. B: hey, hey what's wrong V: well I have good news and bad news B: what is the good news V: I got into Harvard B: congrats v that's amazing and what's the bad news V: the bad news is that I have to go to Massachusetts B: what's so bad about that V: and then after college me and my mom are moving back to New York B:WHAT V: I'm so sorry Betty and I'll try and visit you. I could just look in her eyes that she was very very sad and about to cry. V: are you mad B: I'm not mad I'm just not ready to let you go V: me too and like I said I will try to visit B: what about Archie V: oh shit and he had to tell me something as well B: you don't think V: he can't B: Yeah he wouldn't V: yeah but I'm really sorry Betty B: I understand and respect your mom's decision V: thanks b and I'm going to really miss you B: wow V: what B: I just realized that this is going to be our last summer together V: your right but I will be here to see Juliet when she is born B: promise V: promise. We laughed and cried until me and Archie left and went to pops to talk. A: so V&A: I have to say something V: you first A: no you V: ok I have some bad news A: what V: I got into Harvard but after college me and my mom are moving back to New York A: WHAT V: But we can make the long distance work right A: Veronica I love you and all but I don't really like long distance V: are you breaking up with me? Is this what you wanted to talk about A: yes V: wow Archie so just because I'll be in Massachusetts for four years and New York and you don't think that I would visit or you can come and visit A: You don't think that I was going to just come and visit and then come back here with out you but I'm really sorry but I have to go V: your going to regret this Archie. He walked out the door and left me crying again but alone and not with a shoulder to cry on. I left pops after I calmed down and went back to Bettys. *Knock knock* B: hi V co- omg have you been crying V: yes B: come here. We hugged and then sat on the couch and I told her what happened. V: so we are at pops and I told him what I told you and he is being an ass about this and then he said oh I don't like long distance and then he B: broke up with you V: yup and know I don't want to go to New York in a few years B: I mean I have known Archie for years and he was never like this V: really wow B: yup and he was just the nicest person ever and I don't know what got into him V: can I ask you a favor B: what V: Can you try talking to him B: uh V: please please please B: ok I will V: thanks.
Bettys POV
After Veronica left I called Archie and tried to knock some sense into him.
A: hey Betty
B: don't you hey Betty me you ass
A: what
B: how dare you
A: what do you mean
B: oh my fucking god Archie do you not remember what just went down with you and Veronica
A: she was going to New York for the rest of her life
B: you probably didn't even listen to her half the time
A: yes I did
B: then what did she say
A: she said that she was going to Massachusetts for college and then moving back to New York
B: wrong she said that she got in and that she would VISIT as much as she can or you could VISIT her
A: I didn't want her to go but I don't like New York
B: you've never been
A: yes but I'm done
B: me too and don't ever talk to me again you ass
A: fine I won't you slut
I dropped the phone and fell on the floor and started to cry. B: why would he say that J: Betty are you ok what happened B: Archie....he he called me a J: called you what B: he called me a slut J: what the hell is wrong with him B: he and Veronica broke up and I called him and when we were done he called me one J: I hate that ass B: funny me and Veronica both called him that J: funny but I'll go and talk to him and you get some sleep B: carry me J: sure. He carried me to the bed and he left to hopefully kill him.
Jugheads POV
I was on my way to Archies and was so pissed about what he called Betty. I got off of my motorcycle and almost knocked down his door. J: what the hell where you thinking calling Betty a slut A: chill she called me a ass J: I know and so did I A: but we are still friends J: no where not because you made the biggest mistake of your life and you called Betty a slut and I would have killed you if you said anything else about Betty and you know what stay away from us A: make me J: I will have serpents around your house and in front of your door so you can't leave because they only listen to me and Betty not you or anyone else A: fine but this isn't the last time J: oh yes it will. I walked and drove to pops and then back to the trailer and saw Jb on the couch sleeping. J: Jb wake up Jb: what time is it J: 4 Jb: where Betty J: she's sleeping too Jb: ok I'm going in my room J: ok. A few minutes later I hear someone walking down the hallway. B: hey J: hey how was your nap B: great just can't wait J:  me too.
