Another Life

Chapter 5

Harry and Ginny are the same age. But Harry doesn't go to Hogwarts and doesn't know the Weasleys. Ginny is like in the books the only difference is Molly doesn't approve. Molly believes that Ginny should find herself a nice man and settle down and have as many kids as possible. Molly also believes that Neville Longbottom is that nice man (no hate towards Neville). Neville and Ron are best friends. Any way Ginny doesn't want any of it. She believes she is young and can choose her own way of life. Harry is still an orphan and is raised by the Dursleys. Dursleys didn't treat him as bad a cannon but still pretty bad. Harry got his Hogwarts letter but decided not to go. Instead, he decided to use his inherence and live by himself. Harry owns Sirius's motorcycle.

Ginny

This summer had changed her a lot. Usually, she was looking forward to going to Hogwarts. She still wanted to go but not as much. Ron was now in her personal business more than ever which sucked, and somehow the whole school found out what happened that faithfully afternoon at the burrow. What sucked the most was she wouldn't be able to see harry as much, though they had come up with a plan to meet up at Hogsmeade weekly. She was cut off her train of thoughts when the compartment door opened.

"So, Weasley is it true you actually got a guy ugly enough to snog," said Romilda Vane, while Pavarti and Lavender were snickering behind. Ginny and Romilda were practically enemies, they hated each other with a passion. Ginny rolled her eyes and looked away trying to contain her temper, "Seams I touched a nerve, let me guess left you for someone better" she said in a fake sympathetic voice then Luna came in and said "Hello Vane, and goons" in her dreamy voice. Ginny snickered while Romilda, Lavander, and Parvarti walked away. "Thanks, Luna if it wasn't you, I would have hexed them," Ginny said, "Oh I could tell, there her Nargels swarming your head"  Ginny nodded and went back to looking out the window.

Third Pov

 Harry and Ginny followed their plans and would meet two to three times a week and Luna would cover for Ginny. They would either eat at the three broomsticks or just sit by the lake and talk for hours.

They enjoyed their time together and it helped Ginny get out of her shell, she spent less time studying, and more time hanging out with her dorm mates. She finally tried out for the Quidditch team, she made it much to Ron and Mollys disliking. 

Harry was actually smiling wich was rare, he was genuinely happy wich he hadent been in a long time.

Three months later

Everything was going perfect, it was December so almost Christmas, Neville didn't bother Ginny as much, Ginny was the top Chaser in the school and Harry and Ginny were still together and they were going 7 months. Romilda and her friends were still pains in the ass but nothing would change that would never change. 

Ginny

She was heading down to the Great Hall with Luna, she was completely lost in thought and Luna was talking about another weird creature. She was brought back when Mcgonagall said "There will be a Christmas dace hosted on December 22, this year will be a little different, you can invite a partner than doesn't go to Hogwarts" Ginny could have sworn the Dombledors eyes twinkled at her. She was headed to the secret exist to meet Harry when she was cut off by Romilda, "Ginny were are you going, going to cry because no one wants to take you, or going t ask you, imaginary boyfriend, to take you" Romilda said with an evil smirk on her face "Well Romilda, I wasn't going to do any of those you see, I was going to send an owl to my real boyfriend and ask him to come" Ginny said in a sickly sweet voice, "That's not what I heard from your brother, he told me you were going with Neville" said Romilda, "and you believed that, you must be as dumb as you look" Ginny said, "Oh well, I'll be the one laughing at you when you show up with no one" Romilda said as she turned around and walked away.

Third Pov

Ginny managed to sneak out and met with Harry at their favorite tree in the park at Hogsmeade. "Been waiting long" Ginny said as she sat between his legs and landed back on his chest, "No, I got here a couple of minutes ago" he said softly "You know there is a Christmas ball on the 22nd" said Ginny "Oh yea, what are you going to do?" Harry asked intereaged, "well this year you can invite people from out of school you see," she said teasingly, "Really, you know Miss. Weasly if I didn't know better I would think you were asking me out" Harry said in a mocking tone, then Ginny said "you always were smart" Harry chuckled and said "of course I'll go"

December 22 

Ginny 

She was ready, she had only put on a light layer of makeup, and was wearing a short dark green lace dress with a leather jacket and short boots. She had picked out the dress with Luna a Hogsmeade weekend. She had her hair wavy and let down where it reached her waist. She headed down and saw Ron and Neville. Neville was staring at her mouth dropped while Ron turned red in rage "What the hell are you wearing Givearna", "I'm wearing a dress, and it's Ginny unless you want to get hexed" Ginny bit out, Ron just rolled his eyes "Whatever well talk about this later, you and Neville he.." He was saying in a matter of fact tone when Ginny cut him off and said "I am not going with Neville, first of he never asked me, and second off I would have said no anyway"

With that she walked off she was at the entrance of the Great Hall where she said she would meet Harry. "Let me guess either no one asked you or someone stood you up," said Romilda in a cheery voice, "Nither," she said in a plain voice not wanting any trouble, "oh my bad you're just going alone, pathetic" before Ginny could say something she saw Romilda flashing ridicules posed as if she was trying to impress someone when she heard a deep familiar voice say "I really hope not, I actually got dressed up" Ginny responded "No way really, I never thought id see the day," ginny said in a mocking tone. She turned around and jumped into Harry's arms and kissed him soundly. She looked at Romilda and Romilda had her mouth wide open when Ginny said "What's wrong Romilda" with a fake smile, Harry chuckled realizing what Ginny was doing. Romilda said "Oh nothing" I'm a pained voice then walked away. Harry and Ginny laughed and walked into the great hall arm in arm
