Anna's POV

The next few days flew by. We spent our mornings and evenings with Cade's grandma and the afternoons we would explore the city.

Sadly on our 6th day, Cade told me we would have to return home because of some business he needed to be there for. I was sad to leave, me and his grandma got super close and I had a killer tan.

I sighed as I watched Greece pass us and we made our way to the airport. We finally made it to the runaway and boarded the jet. Cade walked to the back of the cabin and almost immediately started working again. I took the seat across from him and played with my hands out of boredom.

"Hey" I looked up to Cade smiling, "Come here Love" I left my seat and stood in front of him. He patted in his lap, I sat down and nuzzled my head into his chest. I looked back up at him to see that he had already returned to his work.

I study his tie and twirled it in my hand before dosing off.

Hours later I woke up, still in his arms, but now we were one of Cade's cars. Not wanting to wake up yet I cuddled closer to him.

"I'm sorry Love its time to wake up" Cade said while stroking my jawline. I slowly got up, expecting Cade's usual home, instead it was a tall building. "Where are we" I asked trying to see the top through the car window. "One of my penthouses, after the break in, my security team and I decided it would be best for us to stay elsewhere for awhile" I nodded in response while getting out of the car.

Cade smiled at me and placed his hand on the small of my back, guiding me into the building. He nodded hello to the security guard behind the desk. We walked into the elevator, it shot into the sky for what felt like hours. The doors then opened showing a modern living room and kitchen. He grabbed my hand leading my further into the apartment. "It's a bit on the smaller side, but perfect since its just the 2 of us" I smiled, still taking in the living space.

I walked over to the windows to see the view, "Wow Cade, this place is beautiful" I smiled, he was now standing in front of me with a boyish grin plastered on his face. "I'm happy you like it" He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me into him.

He smelled so good, he smelled of whiskey and vanilla. I couldn't tell what was so intoxicating about this man still, was it his smile, scent, or everything about him?

"Also I had clothes delivered here and these are more city appropriate" He said, dragging me to bedroom like a child. I laughed at him and followed him. "Ugh you're so slow" He complained before throwing me over his shoulder and running.

Finally he sat me down in the closet, first I only saw his suits and shoes, then I turned around to the other side. It was full of women's clothes, $1000s of dollars in clothes. Cade wrapped his arms around me again and press his chest against my back, "Hope you like them, I did my best helping decide" "I love them" I turned around hugged him.

"Sorry to ruin the moment but I have to get to work" He started to pull away, but something inside of me doesn't want me to be alone. After last time he left me alone in his house, my cousin tried to kill me. And now that I was in a house without trained guards, I felt scared. I grabbed his wrist, "P-please don't leave me here alone" I whispered not being able to look him in the eyes. "I have to go, I promise you're safe here" "You said that last time" I finally gained the courage to look him in the eyes. "Can I go with you? I will stay out of your way, just please don't leave me here alone" I pleaded. He let out huff, "Ok, just change into like a black dress" He kissed the crown of my head and walked out of the closet.

I found a skin tight black dress and black stiletto heals. I slipped them on and found Cade sitting on the bed typing on his phone. He smiled up at me, "I was thinking after we get done at work we could go get some dinner" "Perfect" I gave him a peck on the lips and walked out, with Cade following behind.
