(Erin's POV) *cuz why not??*

The girl, named Tempest, guided both of us to the training dummy.

"Are you ready, guys?" She asked, we stood tall and readied our weapons.

I took out my axe, Ezra took her sword, and Tempest, err... her powers, I guess (?)

Ezra felt something came out of her chest.

"Wh-what is this?", Ezra said, a little whimper came out of her mouth,

"That heart is your SOUL, the culmination of our being. Usually, all of our health is tied to one person, the leading member. All of our hopes are depending on you, Ezra. Your choices will also affect on how the people around you will act or feel towards you, so be careful...", she nodded.

"Okay, so let's try to use 'FIGHT'. 'FIGHT'-ing isn't really necessary, because somehow, some of the enemies are going to run away. But, let us give it a shot!"

*Let's try FIGHT-ing!

There are four buttons right in front of us. Ezra pressed the sword-like button, showing it as 'FIGHT'. We put up our weapons and-- *slash*, the dummy nearly broke down.

"W... Whoa! That was strong! I'm surprised! Have you done this before?" Tempest asked,

"Uhm... not really?" I said, "I don't remember the last time I got into training.", I continued.

"Alright, then. Try to 'DEFEND'. It may help you reduce the attack of the enemy, and it will also gain MPs.", she nodded as a yes.

*Let's try DEFEND-ing!

Ezra pressed the shield, as Defense, her sword was turned into a shield. She also ordered us the Defend too.

"Wow! That's great!"

"Alright, then. This time, it is the enemy's turn to do the attacking. Try to dodge all of the projectiles. It is also according to it's target, so, all hopes are on you, Ezra.", she nodded.

The target of the enemy is me. Her red SOUL moved around for a bit, then the white things or bullets start moving towards us, so her hand was moving from side to side for control of her SOUL.

"That's a good job, Ezra!"

"Thanks!", she said.

"Alright then, since we've already tire the enemy, why not try to use 'ACT's of Kindness! Try to hug the dummy, Ezra."

*Let's try ACT-ing!

Ezra did the same to the ACT button, she hugged the dummy.

"Aww Ezra, cute! Since we've already done our ACT, Let's end this battle with a peaceful MERCY!"

*Ezra spared Dummy!

*You won! You've earned 0 XP and 5G!

(Ezra's POV)

"Wow, you two are good and fast learners! I really hope we can be good friends...", Tempest said, happy.

Erin walked beside me, I took out my hand as a sign of friendship,

"Let's be friends! Together...!", we both said in unison,

"O-oh! Really...! Thank you...", she was smiling, with a little bit of blush.
