With a loud shout of excitement your hands gripped tighter on the taunt leather reins of the charging beast attempting to remove you frome where you were solidly perched upon its back. This was the fifth time you has managed to even mount the creature, and damned you might be but you weren't gonna stop until you broke the beast.

Well the enviable happened and once again you were roughly tossed from the back of the powerful beast and sent flying. You hit the ground and rolled with an unhappy grunt as the proud beast quickly began to make a getaway. Sitting up you sighed a little and picked a few weeds from your hair and taking a moment to breath before going after the creature.

Was buying an unbroken mount a good idea? Not particularly, but where's the fun in beast you don't break and tame yourself? You chuckled at the thought before a voice took you out of your head.

"Heh that looked like it hurt."

Turning slightly to face the voice you saw a tall man clad in bright red leather. You shook your head and gave him a large grin.

"This? This is nothing, besides can't ride a mount without getting thrown off a couple times." You said patting your knees before standing, "Welp I better get back too it before it runs off too far."

You stretched your arms behind your head a little before casting a glance at the man again, he seemed oddly familiar, but you were more curious in the snarky smirk that played across his mouth.

"What?" You questioned raising a brow

"Its nothing, just never seen someone take a tumble like that and want to get back on." He stated stepping closer, "besides its amusing to watch." He added with a hum

"Well watch all you want as long as you stay out of the way and don't get trampled we won't have an issue." You stated with a shrug before beginning to run off in the direction you last saw your mount run off in

The tall man did stick to his word and watched you through out your adventure of attempting to stay on and break the beast. And laugh as you face planted in the dirt, but hey you'd be laughing too if the roles were reversed. You've always been the laughing stock for one reason or another so it didn't really hurt you all that much.

Maybe that's one reason you were banned from knight hood? Or maybe it was because of your kind reckless actions and fighting?

Eventually as the sky grew darker the beast finally gave up and allowed itself to be broken. After a few victory laps on your new mount you stopped to give the poor beast a break and set up camp. That's when your new friend hopped down from the tree he was perched in and approached.

"As expected that was amusing." He started giving your hair a small ruffle

"Well glad you enjoyed it, cause it sure was an experience." You chuckled giving the snout of the beast a gentle stroke, "You should get home, its getting dark."

"I'll be fine." He chuckled, "But since you want me gone and look like you need a bath, I'll go." He turned and started walking away, "I'm Ban by the way!" He called ober his shoulder
