Aaaaa
Hi
————"Do you remember a Dream?"
Sapnap shot a confused glance at George as the latter answered, "Not usually."
The demon sitting across from them giggled, "That's not what I meant." He said as he opened the book on his lap, holding the mask in his other hand.
"Then what do you mean?" George asked, "No offence, Bad, but you're being very confusing right now."
"Don't you wonder where you got this mask that you wear, Sapnap?" Sapnap blinked and stared at the mask that was in Bad's hands.
"I..." Sapnap shook his head, "I don't remember it at all."
Bad rested a hand on Sapnap's shoulder, looking him in the eyes, "I need you guys to remember." He said softly, "If we're going to bring him back, you both have to remember."
"Bring who back?" Sapnap asked, "I don't understand!"
"Neither do I." George quickly said.
"Bring Dream back!" Bad extended his arms out to emphasize how big this was.
"Bad," George sighed, rubbing his index fingers along his temples, utterly confused, "we don't know a Dream."
"You do, you just can't remember."
"I feel like we're going in circles," Sapnap cut in, "can you explain a little better?"
"Oh, sorry." Bad nodded, "Um... Dream was our friend. And, Sapnap, you and him were.. you know.. together." Bad explained as best as he could, pressing his palms together.
"But then he was killed when you three went into the nether and I think were caught off guard by a wither skeleton?" Bad glanced up at Sapnap and George, they didn't look any less dumbfounded.
"Okay," George averted his gaze, "then why can't we remember this Dream?"
"Because that was punishment for breaking the rules of the afterlife." Bad examined Dream's old mask, humming. "This used to be his."
George went quiet, trying to process what he was hearing. Bad started to talk again, "It was just last night," he said, "he said his last goodbyes and once you fell asleep, he left."
"Is that why our heads hurt so much? Because we had our memories erased?" Sapnap asked.
Bad nodded, "I believe so." He stared at his two friends, and smiled, "But hey, we'll get them back, and we'll get Dream back."
"Do we have proof that we can trust Dream?" George raised an eyebrow, "Sapnap and I have no idea who he is- he could be an awful person."
"Do you trust me, George?" Bad's smile dropped as he stared at George, who felt uncomfortable with the demons gaze.
He did trust Bad, of course he did. He sighed, "I do, I'm sorry."
"Dream was a wonderful person. He cared about both of you deeply, that's why he chose to be forgotten. Because if he didn't, something awful would've happened."
"How do you remember him?" Sapnap asked, "How come it was just us who forgot?"
"I just remember." Bad answered, "Are you guys willing to help bring him back?"
"Why should we?" George was still sceptical, "People shouldn't be brought back from the dead. Once you're dead, that's it, no going back!" He shouted.
"We should because... because the Celestials are wrong." The demon closed his eyes, "They believe they're all high and mighty, but they're not."
"What are Celesials?" Sapnap lowered his voice to a whisper, starting to feel a little scared now.
Bad ignored the questions, "They're as low as the rest of us, if not lower. They think they're in control, but this will prove them wrong. It will prove that they're only hurting us."
"Us?" George leaned back in his seat.
Bad smiled, "Sorry, I didn't mean to get so worked up..." He stood up, "I have to go now, okay? I'll visit tomorrow and we can start with your memories."
George and Sapnap exchanged a look once Bad was gone. "Did you get any of that?" He asked Sapnap.
"Kind of.. but now that I think about it.." Sapnap placed a hand to his chest, "I'm starting to feel it... like there's something missing."
George glanced to his hands, which were curled into a fist and rested on his thighs. He realized that he started trembling, "You're right, I feel that too..!"
"Do you think that might be Dream?"
George felt his breath catch in his throat when a cold chill rushed through his body. "I don't know."
The person in question couldn't seem to learn his lesson. The ghost stood beside the couch where Sapnap and George were sat, a soft smile on his face.
"Bad's smart..." He said to himself, "He knows what he's doing and then.. we'll all be together again..!" He smiled more.
The blonde turned to face Sapnap, refraining from trying to touch him. "Sap..." He whispered, "Please wait for me.."

Dream stared at the Celestial being with wide eyes as a plan started to form in his mind. It was crazy. It was so crazy.
The being reached for him, but he jumped out of the way, taking the short amount of time he had to start making a run for it.
The further he ran, the more he started to see a familiar house in the distance. He opened his mouth, "Bad!" He shouted.
"Bad please!" He didn't dare look behind him, knowing that the Celestial was right on his tail. His eyes widened when the front door opened and he wasted no time pushing past the demon.
Bad shouted in surprise, before the slammed the door shut, blocking the Celestial outside. "B-by the laws, you cannot enter!" He yelled at the Celestial.
It lowered its voice, angrily, "You cannot keep a spirit in here."
"We don't follow Celestial rules. Not anymore! Leave before I get others." He threatened, and then relaxed when he felt the Celestial leave.
"Bad!" Dream turned to the demon, grinning.
Bad sighed, "Why do you always get in trouble with them?"
"You didn't forget me!"
"Why are you here?" Bad asked, "I can't keep saving your butt everytime..."
"I.. I want you to try and bring me back, you were my only hope." Dream smiled slightly, "I was so afraid you forgot me too but it was worth a shot."
Bad nodded, "Okay." He was surprised by his own lack of hesitance, but the Celestials had messed up more than enough times in his life now. "I'll help you, but first I have to pay a visit to George and Sapnap first thing in the morning."
Dream nodded quickly, "Okay! Thank you, Bad! Thank you so much, really."
"Of course!" Bad smiled sweetly, "I'll try my best to keep you safe while you're like this."

Dream came back to reality, pushing the memories away, he shot a glance outside. With a big sigh, he left the house, returning to Bad so they could start.
Sapnap shuddered, "You okay, George?" He asked.
"I don't know.." He laughed weakly, "God, all of this definitely isn't helping with my headache."
Sapnap nodded in agreement, "Me too." He stood up, "I'm gonna make something to eat, want anything?"
"Uh oh, Sapnap cooking?" George teased, also getting to his feet, following an annoyed Sapnap to the kitchen.
Sapnap glanced at the mask in his hands, suddenly feeling a lot calmer by looking at it now. Now that he thought about it, he silently hoped that Bad was right.
He really wanted to meet Dream, now.
