I woke up that morning earlier than usual I was ready to leave I was going to sneak into the library I walked to the door quietly and put on my shoes and my leather jacket I was ready to go until someone woke up

“Zoe” Aaron said groggily

“yeah” I said

“where are you going it's too early to go anywhere”He said

“oh uh i'm just going for a walk”I said

“oh ok we'll be back in an hour or so im making breakfast”Aaron said

“did mom leave again”I said

“yeah” Aaron said” probably went to hangout with one of her friends”he said sarcastically

I knew what he meant mom was always leaving to go hang out with one of her guy friends shes been a mess since dad died

“Zoe you ok” He asked me looking concerned

I kept my head turned he came in to give me a hug I accepted

“I know it's hard I miss him to” Aaron said

I quietly started crying and he pulled me tighter

“thank you” I whispered

“your welcome it'll be ok”He said

I pulled away he gave me a kiss on the cheek

“Be safe” He said

“I will” I said then I left I had to find out what was in that book more importantly what was in that prophecy.
