I dashed to the library. The librarian gave me a weak smile as she unlocked the door. She walked inside and I followed.

I went to the spot out the shelf where Noah had returned it. I looked around, and around, and around, but couldn't find it.

"Excuse me," I said walking up to the counter. "Do you know where this book is?" I said holding up a picture of it. I did some research on it last night. No description came up but I found a picture of the cover.

"We don't have that book." she said. Now, you would probably think that it was a different librarian, but it was the exact same librarian.

"Yes, you do. I was here last night with my friends and we saw it."I said.

"No, I've never seen that book in my life." she stuttered.

"I was here yesterday. My friend was reading this book." I replied.

"Im sorry darling, but you don't look familiar to me. Are you sure you saw it here and not the library on 5th street?" she said.

"That library shut down." I said.

"Oh, i-it di-did." she said shaking.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Leave! Leave now! This library is closing and never opening again!" she yelled. She ushering me out of the library, locking herself inside.

"Well that was weird." I thought.

I looked at my phone it was two hours past breakfast. Aaron said to be back an hour ago. Crap I thought i'm gonna get in trouble Aaron always yells at me if i'm not back in time I started to run I got back at eleven Holy crap I thought i'm gonna really get it now I walked in as soon as I walked in Aaron was on his feet he ran over and hugged me

"why?" I asked confused he hugged me tighter which only made me more confused

he pulled away

"Mom got into a car accident" he said

"WHAT" I said in utter shock

"yeah she was driving back from someones house drunk and she crashed and hit someone on fifth street when they showed the picture it looked like you I got so scared i can't afford to lose you"

"chill I said i'm still here aren't I so what happened to them are they ok

"yeah" he said the news said they were sent to the bridgton hospital we should go she may not be here to take care of us but shes still our mom

"you're right" I said

we were about to walk out the door when he stopped me

"hey what were you doing in the library" he said

"how did you know!" I exclaimed

"I have a gps tracker in your phone I am your big brother after all".

"over protective" I muttered.

"what did you say" he said with a smile on his face

"nothing" I said

"thats what I thought" he laughed
