"Daddy, I think we should check on mister V. Should I...I think I should apologize for making him super mad."
"I don't know, baby. I don't know if it's a good idea for you to go say sorry to him while he's mad. I'm worried that he will do something to you if I'm not there...or he may hurt us both. I don't trust him, Taeyeon."
"But I don't want mister mad, daddy!"
"Me neither, baby", Jeongguk said in a low whisper; he turned off the stove for his beef, getting his steamed vegetables and rice on to the plates he had on the counters.
He then turned to his son who was playing with small cars under the table sadly. Jeongguk sighed and walked to the six-year-old boy, knelt, and ruffled his son's black fluffy hair with a small smile.
"What if you write a small letter saying sorry for V and I go take it to him so I can get down for dinner. What do you think?"
Taeyeon smiled widely, crawling out quickly and shouting small 'yay's as he rushed to the basement where V left items down there to keep the small boy entertained. Jeongguk admired his son, how he just runs around without a worry. Jeongguk washed all the dishes he used for the dinner as his mind wandered to ideas he kept thinking about.
Taeyeon skipped from out of the basement to the coffee table in the living room, placing his papers on it and dropping his crayons, letting them roll around on the glass. Jeongguk didn't understand why his ex-girlfriend had to leave him so suddenly after she found out she was pregnant with their son. She never explained anything to him, he was left in the dark, but he still loved her.
Before gaining Taeyeon, she was the sweetest angel, so happy and showed the smile of the sun. Then there was when she was pregnant. She obviously had hormones and mood swings to it, so he always brushed it off, but she was too much for his heart.
Risking to drink when she had the baby, slamming doors just because Jeongguk wanted to study more instead of going to sleep on time or if he didn't do anything right.
"Daddy! Daddy! I finished! Now go take it so we can eat dinner together!", his son exclaimed, tugging on the loose sweatpants his father wore.
"Okay okay, baby, give it here. I'll go now. Please clean up your mess so V doesn't see it, okay?", Jeongguk said as he grabbed the colorful paper and walked up the stairs after Taeyeon nodded and begun to clean his mess up.
Why did she demand no condom? Why couldn't I just have pulled out?
"Because you wouldn't have had that little brat down there to bother your life with happiness."
Jeongguk gasped, face flustered to a deep shade of red. His hands clutched his son's paper tightly from the embarrassment. V hovered over him, his dark hazy eyes teasing his body with the smirk plastered on his face.
"D-Did...I s-say that out loud?", Jeongguk stuttered out, his body shaking from the older's stare.
"You sure did. Now," V said his deep honey voice, grabbing Jeongguk's arm and dragging him into his room and shutting the door after he got inside, "Why are you here?"
