Before you read here are some things I want you to know. This is sort of an AU to one of the other ninjago fics out there ("the butterfly effect" by samseaa ,even the art in the cover page is by her!) at some point the plot changed dramatically so it's pretty much an AU in the sense that it preserves the same idea of the prophecy, etc. so you can still read this even if you haven't read TBE since there aren't any spoilers (it'll just make more sense if you read the first few chapters or something and you'll know about the "prophecy" but you can still read it as it's own fic, but it'll be confusing for some references or parallels). They change the order of the events too.
So basically, this is roughly the same as the movie universe and the series
- Garmadon is good again
- The ninja identities are unknown
- the city still hates Lloyd ):
Watch out for descriptions of violence and anxiety attacks, other warnings will be added if needed.
And this is my first ever published fic out of the abyss of half completed fics hidden away from y'all for reasons so don't bully me <3
You can read this as an x reader or a fanfiction, either way I'm using a name placeholder for my character (if you want y/n or your name instead just use the fanfiction chrome addon
