Chapter 4: The incedent

While Laila was waiting for Becca outside a store a man came up to her and started checking her out. Her anxiety kicked in and she just froze. He wouldn't leave, he started to get closer to her. "Please go away." "Why should I?" He asked. "P-please I-I" "shhhhh!" He says as he puts his hands around her waist. Laila has an anxiety attack and collapses. Luckily Becca came out as soon as she falls and quickly comes over to her and calms her down. She asks what happened and Laila freezes. "I-I, he came up to me and k-kept s-staring at me I told him to stop and go away b-but he just kept on getting closer. As I was about to tell him to leave again he told me to be quiet and then put his hands around my waist." Becca looks at him and yells at him. "Who are you, and what gives you the right to do that to her!?" "Why do you care? Oh, probably because your both women. Newsflash lady, women are just objects." He realizes he said that out loud. Becca yells "WOMEN ARE NOT OBJECTS! I CARE ABOUT HER BECAUSE I LOVE HER! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TOUCH HER OR ANY WOMAN! AND IF TOUCH HER AGAIN, YOU WILL REGRET IT!" The man slaps Becca. "That's what you get for yelling at me!" Becca gets up and kicks him. As he winces in pain Becca tells him "I told you. You underestimated me. I have been trained my whole life to defend myself. Watch out next time." The man gets up and runs away. " thank you" says Laila. "Come on let's go home." They get in the car and Laila sleeps the whole time. Becca takes them to Laila's house and puts her in her bed. She goes downstairs and tells Laila's mom what happened. As Laila sleeps Becca watches a movie with Laila's mom. Laila wakes up and asks Becca to go back upstairs to her room. Laila goes back in the bed and tells Becca to cuddle with her.
