Jake's POV

After hours of shopping and aquiring a pair of very sore feet, Stacy and I finally escaped to the beach.

Tracy seemed to have worn herself out with all the shopping so she was back at home, Matt went with her to help carry bags. She'd probably racked up about 20 bags full of clothes. The girl was loaded.

"Can you believe how many clothes she bought?" Stacy asked me as we walked along the shore of the beach. We'd both taken our shoes off and were dipping our feet in the refreshing cool water.

"Why would you come to the beach to do something you do every weekend?" I added.

It was mid afternoon and the sun was beating down on us. I shrugged my shirt off and tucked it into the back of my shorts.

Stacy glanced at me warily and I felt a smirk slide across my lips. Her eyes were definitely not anywhere near my face.

"Is it really necessary for you to take your shirt off?" she teased, wrinkling her nose at me.

"Why? You think you can't keep your hands off me?" I countered, raising an eyebrow at her.

Her nose scrunched up the tiniest bit and her eyes narrowed. "Please," she scoffed.

"Alright since you asked so nicely," I said.

Her brow furrowed at me. "Asked what?"

"You can touch them," I said, motioning to my abs. "Really all you had to do was ask."

She frowned, shoving me away. "Knock it off."

"You don't have to hide your obvious desire for me-"

"Jake!" she burst in indignation.

"Are you saying I'm not pretty?" I asked, pouting my lip and looking at her with puppy dog eyes.

"Jake," she growled.

"Alright, I guess if you think that then-" My whining was cut off when ice cold water splashed across my face. My jaw dropped as I stared at Stacy who was stooped over with a guilty expression on her face.

Her wide eyes stared at me. "I slipped...?"

A sinister smirk grew on my face. "You wanna play, little girl?" I taunted, watching her bright green eyes widen in fear.

She turned to run but before she could I scooped her up into my arms, holding her small body to my chest.

She squealed in surprise as her feet left the floor. She frowned when she realized I'd picked her up and started throwing her fists against me. Stacy isn't much of a damsel in distress and so when I say she was punching me, she wasn't holding back.

"Ouch! Lighten up, crazy!" I cried.

"Oh right, I suppose I'll just let you-" she cut off when the icy water hit her back. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped, her pink lips forming a round 'O'. I grinned evily as she realized that I was slowly wading deaper into the water.

"Jake," she pleaded, grabbing onto my neck and lifting herself higher out of the water. The way that she was grabbing me caused her soft chest to press firmly against mine and I decided I didn't mind the cold water so much.

"Jake," she repeated. "Don't do this." Her green eyes pleaded me, hoping I would relent.

"Ask nicely?" I taunted, feeling her smooth hands around my neck cling tightly to my muscles.

"Please," she said sweetly.

I smiled warmly at her and her face brightened hopefully.

Then I proceeded to dump her into the freezing water.

Stacy's POV

Jake is such an ass.

I wrapped the towel around myself tightly, stepping out of the hot shower.

After being dumped in the freezing ocean I proceeded to stomp home, leaving Jake behind so that I could get in the shower and warm up.

I groaned when I realized I hadn't brought any clean clothes to the bathroom with me in my hurry to get warm. In most cases I would have just put my old clothes back on long enough to get back in my room, however my clothes were still drenched wet and cold. On top of that they were probably soaked with whale pee and possibly some human pee. I cringed at the thought.

I peeked out the door to see that nobody was around so I hurried down the hall to my room. I closed the door behind me hurriedly and turned around.

A squeal of surprise left my lips.

Jake lounged across the bed, still shirtless, with a smooth smirk sliding across his lips.

"Is this your way of apologizing?" he asked, smugly.

My cheeks were red hot as I gripped the towel tightly to my body. "No," I blurted quickly, my heart fluttering. "Besides you're the one who should be apologizing!"

A cheshire grin spread across his lips as he stared at me. He pushed himself off the bed, sauntering up to me and smiling as he leaned in to me. "Then let me apologize," he breathed huskily.

Goosebumps rose on my skin and my heart raced a mile a minute. I felt the warmth of his body radiate off his skin, the presence of his body so close to mine.

"You don't have to-" I started to say, my voice trembling.

"Oh I think I do."

He leaned in closer his bright sapphire eyes twinkling mischeviously. His hot breath fanned across my cheeks as he drew closer.

"Jake," I whispered, my voice trembling.

His lips brushed against my jawline and my breath hitched. "Yeah?" he breathed deeply.

I bit down on my lip roughly as I felt his soft lips press against my burning skin. "This is a pretty good apology," I gasped out.

I felt his lips pull into a grin and he chuckled against my skin.

"But..." I continued, feeling his lips pause. "I should probably put some clothes on."

He lifted his head, looking at me with a frown. "I dare disagree with that."

I smiled. "You don't get a say."

I hesitated a moment before I ducked under his arm, hurrying to my suitcase. I was careful to hold the towel tightly to my chest as I leant over to open the zipper.

I pulled out some clothes at random, turning to find him pouting in the corner.

"Sorry kiddo," I said cooly as I passed him to go the door. "I rule with a strict dictatorship. If you don't like it then you'll just have to keep your mouth shut."

He huffed, crossing his arms like a little kid and glaring at me. "What if I overthrow you?"

I scoffed. "You can try."

I opened the door and hurried to the bathroom. What I didn't account for was running into Tracy on my way there.

"Oh," she said upon seeing me: barely clad, frazzeled, and most likely looking quite flushed.

I was astonished when I saw a slow sly smile spread across her face. She rose her eyebrows at me before heading back into her room.

My jaw practically dropped. "Wait-" I called out hoarsely, hoping to clear up the terrible misunderstanding but she'd already closed the door.

Oh my goodness.

Tracy thinks Jake and I are sleeping together.
