As the three flew off, they didn't notice someone walk out of the shadows and go down the stairs back into the apartment building having heard and seen everything.
~Virgil's POV~
As I walked back into my apartment, I couldn't help but panic a tiny bit thinking of the conversation I overheard between the angels.
"I still cant believe trashing my apartment wasn't enough for them, now their gonna come back and interrogate me as well?" I yelled in the safety of my apartment, my thin black and purple tail wrapping around my leg.
"I nearly forgot to feed today because of them..." I said licking my fangs that had decided to expose themselves.
"Still feel bad for the wounded deer I feasted on... It wouldn't have survived either way though..." I said slightly biting my lip in thought, while I made my way to my bed to lay down.
