~Pattons POV~
After we left the young man's house, we stopped on top of the apartment building to discuss the day's events. "Anyone else think the emo we encountered today is suspicious?" Roman asked, his wings poofing up slightly.
"Roman, we searched his entire apartment. Why do you still think he's suspicious?" Logan asked Roman, with a baffled look on his face and his wings tightly folded against his back.
"I don't know, but maybe we should take him in for questioning." Roman says shifting to the side grooming his wings.
"Kiddos maybe we shouldn't do that you saw how anxious he got when we searched his apartment!" I argued my wings poofing up at the thought of scaring the man any more than we had already.
"Patton, doesn't that seem suspicious to you though? Why would he be anxious unless he was hiding something." Roman argued leaning forward while doing dramatic hand movements as if to get his point across.
Logan rolled his eyes at Roman's behavior, "Roman I agree with you. However, I don't think we should just barge in unannounced and point fingers at him like you would do if we let you do this alone."
Patton perked up at this while Roman was offended. "Yeah, though we should make the kiddo feel comfortable and probably question him in the apartment so he doesn't feel trapped." Patton said smiling.
"Now kiddos I think we should wrap this up and go back home, it's getting dark out." Patton said while standing up.
"Ok, Padre" Roman said while Logan just nodded.
~Narrators POV~
As the three flew off, they didn't notice someone walk out of the shadows and go down the stairs back into the apartment building having heard and seen everything.
