Boggarts

The next day we are standing in defence against the art classroom as I look at the wardrobe, knowing what we are doing, which is exciting to my ears and eyes even if I am still in a bandaged arm. It is hard to do some of my classes, but I'll have it off in a week, which I am looking forward to, "Intriguing. Isn't it? Would anyone like to venture a guess... as to what is inside?" Lupin questions as I lick my lips, but when I was to speak up on the subject, Dean caught onto it quicker, which I will take because he is a part of my house, "That's a boggart, that is." Dean says as I look at the professor and smile with a nod at the answer to the question, "Very good, Mr Thomas. Now, can anybody tell me what a boggart looks like?" Lupin questions as the cabinet is still shaking for me to be ready to answer that question in record time, "No one knows." Hermione then cuts in as I look at her, wondering when she got here becuase sometimes she appears, "When did she get here?" Ron questions Harry and me, which makes me shrug my shoulders, not knowing the answer to that question: "Boggarts are shape-shifters. They will take the shape of whatever a person fears the most. That's what makes them so..." I then explain, knowing my knowledge matches Hermione's any day, making it fun when we study together because we bounce off one another, "So terrifying, yes, yes, yes... Luckily, a very simple charm exists to repel a boggart." Lupin was explaining to meet my eye as he came to stand in front of the class. What is it with him always looking at me like I am someone from long ago, "Let's practice it now. Without wands, please. After me. Riddikulus!" Lupin commands as I gulp, knowing this class engages with the first lesson.

"Riddikulus!" we chorus back to the professor as I smile at the word, which is quite funny to say in today's world, "Very good

"Riddikulus!" we chorus back to the professor as I smile at the word, which is quite funny to say in today's world, "Very good. A little louder and very clear. Listen, Riddikulus!" Lupin tells us as I smile that we are to say it louder for everyone to hear, "Riddikulus!" we all chorus back yet again as I watch the professor, who I think will make this class really interesting with his wacky output, "Very good. So much for the easy part. You see, the incantation alone is not enough. What really finishes a boggart is laughter. You need to force it to assume a shape you find truly amusing. Let me explain. Neville, would you join me, please?" Lupin explains as I turn my eyes to Neville, one of my friends looking terrified now; poor Neville is constantly thrust into this stuff like this when he wishes to stay in the shadows, "Come on, don't be shy. Come on. Come on." Lupin encourages Neville to join him in the front of the class, making me watch them, wondering what Lupin will do to poor Neville, who looks a little red in the cheeks on standing in front of us with his back to us, "Hello. Neville, what frightens you most of all?" I heard Lupin question Neville, who whispered something softly to Lupin, which was hard to hear even though the professor could not hear it like we could, "Sorry?" I suspect that Lupin wants Neville to speak louder so we can hear "Professor Snape." Neville shouts, which makes me giggle with the class, who laugh at that, knowing Snape scares many people. That is just how he is becuase he made it that way for himself.

"Professor Snape. Yes, frightens all. You live with your grandmother." Lupin questions Neville, then goes stiff on the fact Lupin remembers that about my friend, "I don't want it to turn into her, either." Neville points out as I watch with wonder on my features of what Lupin is doing. The class laughs at what Neville just said because he is scared of his grandmother and Snape as well, which is quite weird at some points and understandable in other factors, "No... it won't." the professor says as the wardrobe shakes yet again for it wishes to open.
