Arashi's apartment is small...
Her kitchen bled into her living area, a space that really only held a couch and a small table. She had a small bathroom with a shower, and right across from it, was her bedroom. She slept on a small futon roll and had an even smaller closet. It wasn't that big of a deal, she didn't expect to stay in this apartment for long, she was looking over some closer to U.A with her father anyways.
Normally, she would have just stayed with her parents at their house, but the travel time was too much for her to handle on a day to day basis, so she and her parents scrounged up what little money they had and helped her with an apartment. Arashi helped pay by tutoring kids of all ages on the side, when she wasn't training or had softball.
Which...Arashi doesn't have to worry about anymore. For better or worse.
Arashi's changing into her school uniform when she gets a call on her phone, she answers and puts it on speaker.
"Hey there Bug! Getting ready for your first day?" Arashi smiles at her nickname, it's been awhile since she's actually heard it, which makes her sad. She needs to call her parents more often.
"Trying to, i've got to be up there early today for orientation so i'm kind of rushing..." Her father laughs, he sounds a bit tired, like he just rolled out of bed. And knowing him he probably has.
"Well make sure you still get some breakfast okay kiddo?"
"Hard to without your cooking dad." They both go silent, as Arashi's putting the two little bows in her hair. She hears her father sigh on the other end.
"I'm so proud of you Bug. So proud..."
"I can sense a 'but'" He huffs out a laugh, and Arashi picks up her phone and goes to her kitchen, pulling out some orange juice from the small fridge.
"But- I'm...just worried. Are you positive this is what you want to do? You don't want to just... come home and work with us?" Arashi pauses, she sets the jug next to the empty glass on the countertop and sighs, running her fingers through her lilac hair.
"No." She looks away from the phone, and starts to idly run her fingertip around the rim of her glass. "This is all i've ever wanted to do. You know that."
"I just want you to know that you have options-"
"No, you just don't want me to do it because of him." There's a pregnant pause before Arashi speaks again, quieter. "I want to...finish where he left off." Her father huffs, and she can hear rustling in the background.
"I know that Arashi. Trust me I know...I just...I worry about you, doing this putting yourself in danger, and all for what? Your brother got nothing for everything he did. Nothing."
