BrightPaw, ShinePaw, and Sparkpaw sat near the entrance of the camp. They were all talking to each other while sitting there with the silent warriors on their vigil. Dustfur was not to far when he noticed PineNeedle and ShrewFoot were all sitting together with the new apprentices as well. Then as Dustfur looked back he saw Nightlight and ForestFire joining him, they all three were the mentors of his three kits. He got up when they were close to him and waved his tail so that they would follow and they did. He stopped in front of the six cats and sat down next to Brightpaw.
"Hello Dustfur!" Said all three apprentices and the new warriors dipped there head to him and the other mentors. Nightlight's black and white fur passed by him as she went over to Sparkkit to whispered something to him, then they both trotted off passed the camp into the forest, Dustfur guessed they were going hunting. Then Forestfire passed by him with his red patches flashing bright in the moonlight and he and Shinepaw silently walked off to train.
It was just him, the silent warriors, and his apprentice Brightpaw, also his only she-cat kit. Dustfur got up and stretched. "What are we going to do today? Hunt? Practice fighting?" Brightpaw spoke quickly and Dustfur did not answer her question just yet beginning to think of what they should do today. He looked back and noticed SootCloud and BrightFlower going into the medicine cat's den with herbs filled in their mouths.
Dustfur then looked back at BrightPaw who was jumping up in excitment, he waved his tail for her to follow. Then he sat down by the fresh-kill pile. "Today we will practice tracking and hunting" Dustfur said proudly coming up with his own tactics to make his apprentice better than everyone elses. Then he sighed and spoke low, "I know we are not swimmers, but i will teach you the basics of swimming so if you ever need to swim or help someone you can." he gave her a small lick hoping she would not tell anyone and she nodded as if she understood.
