Oikawa Toru sat in a coffee shop, finishing off his hot espresso that he held by the handle as he scrolled through Instagram one Thursday morning. Liking one last post, he turned off his phone and stood up from the table that was located in one of the many corners in the store. Placing his phone into the pocket of the navy blue hoodie that he wore, Oikawa stalked to the front door, leaving the empty coffee mug on the table for someone from the staff to clean up.

Pushing open the door with his shoulder, Oikawa exited the coffee shop. He barely moved two feet forward when a man wearing a black tuxedo rushed past him. Oikawa snapped his head in the direction that the strange man was running in. He noticed that the man had dropped his wallet. Picked up the leather wallet, Oikawa ran after the man, trying to get his attention.

"Hey, weirdo in a suit!" Oikawa yelled. The man slowed down to a stop, and turned his head to look at Oikawa. "You dropped your-" Oikawa stopped dead in his tracks. He knew that face.

"O-Oikawa? Is that you?" The man asked.

Oikawa nodded his head. "Hello, Iwa-chan." Oikawa had never been so happy to see his ex best friend.

Iwaizumi smirked. "Hey, Shitty-kawa."

"Hey!" Oikawa playfully punched Iwaizumi's shoulder.

They both laughed for a moment in uncomfortable silence. Until-

"Oh shit! I'm gonna be late!" Iwaizumi yelled. "I'm sorry, I have a job interview today, and I can't be late; I'll see you around!" He started to run off in the direction that his interview took place.

"Hey! Don't forget your wallet!" Oikawa tossed Iwaizumi his wallet.

Catching it, Iwaizumi continued to run down the sidewalk to his interview. "Thanks, Oikawa."

Oikawa waved goodbye to Iwaizumi, then turned around to walk to his car. He arrived at his vehicle parked right next to the curb and opened the driver side door. Sitting down, he buckled himself up and looked through the windshield. He noticed a small yellow paper stuck between the windshield wiper and the glass.

Oikawa exhaled slowly. "If that's what I think it is, then I swear to god I'm going to jump off a bridge." Unbuckling himself, he opened the door and stepped out of the vehicle. He leaned over the hood of his car and pulled the yellow slip of paper out between the windshield wipers and the windshield. Labeled in bold, black ink were the words Oikawa was dreading:

PARKING TICKET

Oikawa groaned as he read the rest of the paper. "Wait- thirty seconds over due? You've got to be kidding me," he mumbled angrily, walking back to get inside his car again.

A couple moments later, he turned onto the road and drove back to his apartment. He lived about 10 minutes away from where he was now, so it wasn't that far. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. Pressing the on butting with his phone, he swiped up to bring up the control center. Tapping the bluetooth button to enable bluetooth, his car speaker said "Bluetooth is connected to Oikawa Toru's iPhone."

Oikawa used his touch ID to open his phone and go to Spotify. Pressing his liked songs, he pressed shuffle play. The first song that came on was something that he wasn't in the mood for, so he pressed skip as the lyrics "There's some whores in this house-" filled his ears.

The next song that came on was still what he was looking for.

"Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh-!" Oikawa skipped the song.

Finally, a song that he wanted to listen to came on. As Golden by Harry Styles played, Oikawa shut off his phone and put in into an empty cup holder beside him. He bopped his head up and down to the music.
