"Hey," greeted Oikawa and Iwaizumi opened the passenger side door of his car.

"Sup," Iwaizumi replied. "Where are we going?"

"I packed a picnic; I thought we could go to the park and walk around a little bit. But first I wanna go to this coffee shop that I always go to. Is that okay?" asked Oikawa.

"Yeah! That sounds like a good idea," Iwaizumi replied.

Smiling, Oikawa started the car and drove to the coffee shop. Once they had arrived, they both got out of the car and walked inside.

Oikawa ordered a simple iced coffee.

The woman taking the men's order's turned to Iwaizumi.

"Hello, sir, what would you like to order?"

For some reason, it felt weird for someone to call him sir. He didn't like sir. Breaking the eye contact with the woman, he mumbled his order, embarrassed.

"O-one hot cocoa please. With whipped cream. And caramel drizzle on top. Thanks," he thanked after she had put in his order into the computer.

"Allright, what are your names for the order? And will that be for here or to-go?" She asked.

"I'm Oikawa, and this is Iwaizumi. And to-go, please. Thank you!" answered Oikawa.

Oikawa and Iwaizumi went to sit down at a table for two.

"You ordered hot cocoa in June? It's like- 70 degrees outsi-" Oikawa started, but Iwaizumi interrupted him.

"Don't make me more embarrassed than I already am, shittykawa," Iwaizumi snarled.

"Okay, okay! I'll shut up now!" Oikawa agreed with a laugh. Iwaizumi just put his head in the table. His face was very red from embarrassment.

Iwaizumi noticed that Oikawa continued to laugh. All the noise from the other people in the shop had completely disappeared. His laughter was the only thing that Iwaizumi heard. It faded, slower and slower, until his laughter stopped. Except, Iwaizumi didn't want him to stop. He wanted him to continue laughing. He liked Oikawa's laugh. He always had. But he had just realized it for the first time.

He also loved the smile that accompanied the laugh. Oikawa's smile lightened up his whole day. Hell, even the next day. He could stare at Oikawa's smile all day. Even if it was a small smirk- oh man, the smirks. He doesn't do it often, but when he does, Iwaizumi's heart explodes.

Iwaizumi started to play with his hands while staring at his lap. How come he never felt any of this with Yuri?

Because you don't love her.

I know, but- wait, yes, I do love him. I mean her.

Well, which is it?

Her. I love her.

Really?

I... I don't, don't I?

Nope. Took you long enough to realize.

Well... who do I love?

Dumbass.

Hey!

"Iwa-chan? You alive?" Oikawa asked as he aggressively tapped Iwaizumi's shoulder.

Iwaizumi lifted his head to look at Oikawa. "What?" He had been so lost in thought that he didn't notice that the cashier was calling their names.

"Iwaizumi with a hot cocoa and Oikawa with an iced coffee, your drinks are ready!" She waved at them.

Oikawa hopped up out of his seat, and Iwaizumi followed. Arriving at the countertop, the woman picked up their drinks.
