*** THE MORNING OF MEW'S RECOVERY ***

Waking up with gulf in my arms, I squeezed him in a tight hug.

I could feel his fingers trying to push my body away from his.

"Let me sleep. Stooop." The tiredness making his voice soft and raspy.

"For how long. It's almost 12."

"Shut up mew. You slept for two days, let me sleep for at least 2 more hours."

Squeezing him in a tighter hug, I felt as his body began to stretch and adjust to him waking up.

Gathering enough strength he pushed himself from my arms, stood on the bed and dragged the covers from me, and head towards the door.

"Gulff." I laughed as I watched him stomp his way out the room.

"Okay fine babe. Come back to bed, I'll let you sleep in peace."

My words might have been lost somewhere in the air or maybe im mute because he just ignored me as I heard another door close a few moments later.

Rolling on the bed with a big smile, I finally felt my body stretch out in relief and joy of finally being able to move around.

Getting out of bed I took a shower and head downstairs to make breakfast.

After cooking the congee, I made fruit salad, and toasts with butter.

Wanting to keep it light, because I haven't eaten for two days I went to wake gulf up.

Opening doors to different guest rooms, I found him sleeping on the floor in one of the rooms.

"Babe, why are you on the floor."

I walked over and sat down beside his sprawled body.

"I tried to go to the bed, but I couldn't make it so I decided to stay on the floor."

I just laughed at him and pulled him to sit in my lap.

"Well love its time to wake up. I made breakfast."

He leaned his head on my shoulder as his back rested on my chest..

"Can I eat later."

"No. Any later and you'll be eating brunch."

"Then bring it upstairs."

"How about you just go downstairs babe. Don't you think that would be easier?"

Taking a deep breathe he opened his eyes, with a light pout.

"Later, let me sleep for 5 minutes then. Is that fine?"

Kissing his pouty lips, I pulled away with a small smile.

"No."

Pulling myself up, I pushed him up with me.

With the blankets still wrapped around him, I directed him downstairs and let him lay in the living room couch as I drew a small breakfast table near the couch he laid in.

"Is this better?"

"No mew. I'm cold now. Lay beside me."

"Hold on."

I walked in the kitchen and brought the breakfast on a platter and set it on the table.

Then I crawled in the blanket behind him, resting my head on his shoulders as my hands wrapped around his body.

"Is it warmer now?"

Not getting an answer from him, I came to the conclusion that he probably fell back asleep.
