Chapter 4 :)

We pulled up to the campus and he drove to Swartz hall. Swartz Hall is where I live. I did not tell him where I lived. Why does he know where I live. I looked at him to see his emeralds shining at me. I I don't live here I lied. Where do you live? I'm not comfortable saying. I'll just hop out here and walk there. Eriella I know you live here. I have plenty of acquaintances. Plus a buddy of mine was teasing me and saying that "my girl" was living next to him. He lives in Swartz hall. Thanks for the ride I say as I slide out the Shelby shutting the door as quick as possible. You're welcome he yelled I turned around to see that he had gotten out of his car as just to show off his body. I smiled and waved them I continued in to my building. He stayed out there until I was able to make it inside. I looked out the window of my building. I watched him get back in his car. Then I watched how he drove off. I don't know how to feel about him all I know is he's mysterious.

I make my way to my room and I see that Claire's heading out the door. Hey Eriella did you want to go to the color party? Um no I think I'm just gonna stay inside and study for class tomorrow. No I think you want to go to the color party. No I don't Claire I'm going inside to study. How are you gonna study without these Claire then held up my work journals then threw them into her rainbow sparkled backpack and rain down the hall in her matching crop top miniskirts and stilettos. That's not funny Clair please come back. I watched her go to the end of the hall with her long blonde hair in her high ponytail flows behind her. I open the door to our room and go to my closet to see what's the best looking party outfit I own. I'm not your typical party person so my wardrobe contains a lot of Athleisure and t shirts. I opened a bag that my cousin gave me before I came down here and pulled out a lacy sweater, low V neck tank top, and a pair of ripped American Eagle jeans. I slide them on grab my keys and leave.

I cranked my car and put it in reverse as my back up cameras came on showing there was something behind my car. A letter. I put my car in park and I get out of my car hesitantly. I walked to the back of my car and retrieved it, but quickly went back to my car locking the door behind me. I opened the revealing a letter. I carefully opened the letter and read it.

"Hello. I'm not sure if you remember me or not. I was the car in the neighborhood. You looked so pretty. You're body was perfect I might add. You should come alone again so we can meet."

My body shivered at the thought of that. How did he know what car I drove? I just shook it off. I'll be driving this time. This time I backed out and left. When arriving at the address I noticed it was Braylend's mansion. I took a deep breath got out of the car and went in the gates.
The party was loud and I was avoiding everyone I could I knew I needed to find Claire and get my notebooks back so I could study. I looked all around the backyard and didn't see her I saw two kids who were sitting at a table with papers and note cards.

Hey, have you guys seen a girl named Claire I asked them. Yes she's inside with Chase the girl on the right said. Chase? I question I don't know who he is I say scrunching my nose. He's the only guy with neon blue and pink hair the Asian guy said. You don't look like the party type the girl on the left said. I'm not I'm trying to find my friend who stole my books. What class the Asian boy asked me. Chemistry and Civics with Mr. Lange and Mr. Palenstine. I have the same class the Asian boy said. We could study together. I've got the majority of the lecture down to memory. If you don't mind I could help too I could get some volunteer hours in the girl said. There's no way I'm letting you steal my hours the Asian boy said. I'm not stealing I'm borrowing she said.

You know I'm just gonna go look for my books I say as I start walking away. No the Asian boy shouted wait. Here's my number he said handing me a slip of paper with his name and number. You're very beautiful and I was actually more inter in you than volunteer hours. She not even pretty Kai the girl snapped. Shut up Gia she's hot and your not. I'll think about it I say and walking away quickly. I walk around the hot tub and I notice a few guys playing football in the grassy area of the backyard. I watched the boys the very attractive boys throw the ball a few times. When the ball was thrown to one of the boys facing the same direction I was I watched as the ball slipped through his fingers and flew the direction of the party. Next thing I know the ball went flying and hit a waiter on his head who dropped his platter and glass shattered and two peole jumped backwards to which the boys who jumped backwards knocked me into the...water.

I'm completely submerged under water and I don't know what's going on. I can't move. I can't breathe. I feel something wrap around me and pull me. I begin grasping for air when I reach the top. I see everyone looking down at me. I go to wipe my eyes but realize someone's arms are wrapped around me. I flutter my eyes and turn to see Braylend. Let me go I growl. I just saved you and that's how you thank me he snaps. I didn't need you to save me I snap back. Look I don't know what your damn problem is but you need to get over it he cussed back. Get you hands off of me! I yell. Who does he think he is. Trying to show off to everyone while making me look weak. Fine he yelled back. He let go of me and I went back under water and I start reaching for something to pull me back up. I couldn't grip anything then I felt Braylend and I pulled self up using his hand. Thought you didn't need me he said looking directly in my eyes when I came back up. I don't I just didn't know how deep it was when you pushed me under. I didn't push you under. I just simply let you go as you requested. Why are you still in here I yelled. Cause I can't get out he said calmly. Why can't you I yelled once again. Same reason you can't he said with a smile. I then looked all around me noticing g the pool is half full and reading the pool markings saying 30ft and I then look for the ladders that are at the very top.
