you were currently sitting in the common room with the bakusquad. mina and you were on the couch, scrolling through your phones, bakugo and kirishima were in the kitchen looking for snacks, and denki and sero were sitting on the couch watching tv.

when bakugo and kirishima got the snacks they wanted, they sat down on the couch scrolling through their phones, and occasionally looking up at the tv.

suddenly jirou walked by the common room to get to the elevator. you watched denki stare at her as she walked by, with a look you couldn't really figure out. the more you thought about it though, the more you realized, he honestly looked mesmerized.

denki looked back at the tv with a small blush on his face. you frowned a little when you saw it, but you decided that you were overreacting. pushing your bad thoughts to the back of your head, you were about to go back to scrolling through your phone when sero noticed the blush on denki's face. naturally, he decided to tease him a bit.

"denki, is that a blush on your face i see?"

"w-what?! no!"

"bro you totally stuttered! do you like her or something?"

the part that broke your heart was when denki stayed silent. mina and kirishima are the only people in the bakusquad who know about your crush on denki.

mina and kirishima both looked at you with worried expressions after what just happened. you tried to give them a convincing smile, but it ended up making them worry even more.

before you could hear anything else, you suddenly stood up and said,

"ah i just remembered, i have some homework to do. see you guys later!"

you gave them a fake bright smile and turned around, that smile coming right off of your face, as you ran to your dorm before anyone could say anything.

a single tear rolled down your cheek as you were running. you ran into your room and closed the door shut, locking it right after.

you probably seemed suspicious running to your dorm so suddenly, but you didn't care at the moment. all you could think about was the way he looked at her. why couldn't he look at you like that? what did she have that you didn't? i mean, yeah she was gorgeous, but still. why? doesn't personality overpower looks?

that's what you kept asking yourself until you heard a soft knock on your door.

"y/n? it's mina. oh and kirishima's with me. can we come in?" you heard at the other side of the door.

you quickly wiped some tears that streamed down your face that you didn't even notice were there until now, as you said, "uh sure.."

you stood up and walked over to the door and unlocked it so they could come in. they quickly walked in, and closed the door behind them.

when they turned around to look at you, they noticed your slightly puffy eyes. their slightly worried look, turned into a way more worried look.

the smile you gave back in the common room fooled everyone, including them. they should've realized it was fake, but it looked so real.

they both hugged you as mina murmured, "y/n, we'll always be here for you. just remember that please, and don't go doing anything stupid."

kirishima added on, "yeah! it would be totally unmanly of us not to be here for you! just always remember we love you."

you gave them a slight smile and said, "thank you, guys. you don't understand how much that means to me."

they both said simultaneously, "anytime!"

kirishima asked, "will snacks and f/m (favorite movie) make you feel a little better?"

mina excitedly shouted, "i'll get the snacks!" and ran off.

"i'll get the movie!" kirishima happily said.

a few minutes later, mina ran in with an arm full of f/s (favorite snack/snacks) and f/d (favorite drink/drinks).

mina jokingly said, "the queen has arrived with the food!"

you playfully rolled your eyes, at the pink girl's antics.

"hurry up! the movie is about to start because you were taking so long!" you said with a pout.

"yeah! you took forever~" kirishima exaggerated.

mina rolled her eyes and set the food down. she contentedly smiled, being relieved that you were forgetting the situation, at least for a little bit.

the rest of the night was filled with eating and watching movies.
