A/N: I'm actually gonna set this during the winter soldier as I can't write the reader as a thanos-y creature thing as a human wouldn't team with a giant purple space prune :) I know Peter wasn't an official hero during that fight BUT NOW HE IS CUZ FANFICTION DEEMS IT!

Me and Peter have grown quite close over these past few months, he may be on Hydra's watchlist but he's just an innocent kid. but let's be real, when the avengers find out about our plan, Stark is going to get him to help- and I'll have to fight him. Hydra may be slightly insane but their heart is in the right place, most people don't understand that though-and we, their soldiers, do have hearts and care about people. Anyway Rumlow needs me on this mission and I'm not sure I can, I can't face Peter.

Rumlow walked up to me and drags me into a seperate room to discuss the plan

"Look, Y/l/n, I need you to attempt to gain the avengers trust. If they hear about our little plan it's not going to work- Fury has already been convinced to add you to their team and now it's all up to you."

"I won't let Hydra down, Rumlow. When do I start?"

"Tomorrow."

"I'll get packing. Thank you."

"And, y/l/n?"

"Yes?"

"Good luck."

I smiled at Rumlow and left the room, I stalked back to my room and began packing. After an hour I was all set to go, now just to wait until morning

I arrived at Avengers tower at 11 on the dot and was walked In by undercover Hydra Operatives. WHY COULDNT THEY GAIN THEIR TRUST?!

Just before they left we shook hands Whispering our allegance in each others ears- almost like a secret code, handshake or chant for an exclusive club.

Being one of Fury's most trustable (or so he thinks) agents, strong enough to take on the Black widow (or even the Asset at the Facility) means I'm pretty well known with the avengers and am friends with some of them, like Peter, Steve, Sam, Clint, Natasha and Tony. When I walked into the conference room I was swarmed by hugs and "Welcome to the team" 's.

Tony told me to sit down and that there was an urgent matter to take care of, but they decided to wait till I got there as the 'more people who know, the better'

"We've received rumours of 'Project insight' being Bugged and a plot to kill every major, high standing person in NYC and the world. Hawk, Widow, y/l/n, Have you heard anything about it?"

I signal to the others to be quite and let me speak, which they do.

"Tony. Being some of Fury's best Agents, trusted by every member and agent of S.H.I.E.L.D, you think we'd know about this 'plot' don't you? Or at least noticed suspicious people being the amazing spies we are? I suggest you drop and forget about this stupid 'Intelligence' and focus on facts and what we DO know about Project insight. If it is bugged, we'll take down the rats in due time."

"Well said y/n" Clint Clapped me on the back and left to go to his room, quickly followed by everyone else exept me, Thor and Pietro. The only two people who didn't trust me, and who could blame them

"Listen well y/l/n." Thor boomed, stalking towards me quickly followed by Mr speed queen

"I'm listening."
