Y/n has forgotten what it feels like to have friends. In public, people will ultimately perceive her as a quiet soul, shy and introverted. Though she is, she can't help but seek out company. It isn't her fault to be on edge or quiet when she's around people, she have felt it before. Her, being quiet, is her only defense mechanism in case if it happens again.

A polite smile was plastered on her soft skin as she and her new ghost friend play along with the colour palettes she have brought with her. Both of them didn't know how much fun it could be just by pairing different hues. "--how about yellow and magenta?" asks Ghostbur.

The girl only giggle at his question. "Well, they tend to not fit together, Ghostbur." Her friend's dark brown eyes follows her small hand as it searches for its perfect match. "Then what fits yellow?"

"f/c!" she beamed at her friend with the patch. Y/n then place the the f/c patch next to the yellow one. Ghostbur took a moment by just staring at the pair of odd pretty colours. She's right! Girl wonder was right! He though with his face now almost on contact with the palettes. He takes them in both of his grasps, his eyes locked on its surface.

"They're like best friends in the colour world!" he tells her with a grin on his face. The girl only nods as she watches him being mesmerized by a simple colour combination. Never in his life he's been this curious about something, based on what he remembers at least. A sense of connection was all he was feeling right now.

It seems like being in Y/n's atmosphere was good for him.

"Y/n?" He catches the girl's attention. "If yellow and f/c fits together, then does that mean...We too fit together?" Y/n held her breath out of habit as she waits for him to continue. Ghostbur took this as a sign of his friend being curious, so he continues.

"What I'm saying is...Y/n, can I be your best friend?" He tells her with confidence. "Just like the colour f/c and yellow--"

"--you and me."

Silence, that was all they've heard after the last words he spoke. Y/n, or as Ghostbur calls her, girl wonder, looks at him with eyes truly full of wonder. She smiled at him, a smile so genuine it can make one's cold heart melt without a hassle. "Of course." She said. "Just like f/c and yellow."
