Chapter 9: ONE night and BINGO!

Bette and Amy were waiting for the doctors appointment. They were both very nervous, because they didn´t know what was coming and going on with Amy.
´Ms Williams-Pieszecki?´ Doctor Bradshaw asked and looked in to the room
´Yeah, that´s me.´ Amy stood up and looked at the doctor; ´Come in´
´Do you want me to come inside with you?´ Bette asked at Amy when she stood up.
Amy nodded and smiled;´Yes please´.
Bette and Amy walked inside the doctors office and sat down.

´So tell me your symptoms. What´s going on?´ Doctor Bradshaw asked at Amy.
´Well I´m really tired lately, nauseous in the morning and craving for the weirdest things to eat´ Amy explained.
´I think I know already what is going on, can you fill this for me?´ The doctor gave Amy a steril cup.
Amy went to the toilet to fill the cup with pee and came back.
´Here you go´ Amy gave the cup to the doctor when she sat down.
´You can wait in the waitingroom for a couple of minutes and I will call you in if the pregnacy test is full filled´ Doctor Bradshaw explained.
Bette and Amy walked back to the waiting room as Amy looked confused.

´A pregnacy test, Bette? Could I maybe be pregnant?´ Amy still looked confused at Bette.
´Yeah I don´t get it, but..´ Bette couldn´t finish when Amy said; ´Andrew...´
´Sorry babe?´ Bette asked surprised
´Andrew, the guy I slept with 4 months ago´ Amy looked down and sighed
´You slept with a guy?´ Bette said surprised again
´Yeah that night when we broke up´ Amy admitted and felt embarresed.
´What the hell, Amy... Well you didnt do it safe?´ Bette looked a little mad at Amy
´I am on birth-control.. so´ Amy felt more bad now.
´How could you be so stupid? You know birth-control isn´t always safe´ Bette said with some disappointment in her voice
´I know, but I was really drunk that night and I realized that morning who was sleeping next to me. So excuse me for letting my feelings out´ Amy looked down.
´I´m sorry.. We will..´ Bette couldn´t finish her sentence as the doctor called them in.

Bette and Amy walked back in to the doctors office and the doctor smiled at them.
´Well congratulations Amy, you are pregnant for almost 4 months already. I will make an ultrasound now to check up how the baby is doing. You can lay down there, shirt up please´ The doctor pointed to the bed there.
´Great...´ Amy sounded a little sad.
´Are you coming with me, baby?´ Amy looked at Bette unsure when she asked it.
´Sure baby´ Bette nodded and sat next Amy when she laid on the bed.
´I´m sorry´ Amy looked at Bette when she took her hand for support.
´It´s gonna be fine. I love you´ Bette kissed Amy´s hand.
´I love you too´ Amy smiled big with tears in her eyes.

Dr Bradshaw was doing the ultrasound of Amy´s baby.
´This can feel a little cold on your belly. Let´s see what we have here´ Dr bradshaw started.
Amy and Bette heard the baby´s heartbeat for the first time. They looked at each other with tears in their eyes.
´It´s that our baby?´ Amy asked smiling
´That´s your baby.  Do you want to know the gender?´ The dr asked
´It´s that possible already?´ Bette asked surprised.
´Yes. Amy is almost 4,5 months away, so I can see the gender´ Dr Bradshaw looked at Bette
´I would like to know it, please´ Amy smiled more.
´Well let me see.. you will have a little... GIRL´ Dr Bradshaw said smiling.
´Wow... my little girl´ Amy looked at Bette with a big smile.
´Our little girl.´Bette smiled even at Amy. Amy had tears falling down her face, she was so happy that Bette accepted the baby, although Amy knew it is going to be hard.
´Can we have some pictures of the baby? Make it like 2´ Bette smiled at Amy
´No, five please´ Amy said
´Five?´ Bette asked confused
´Yes, for you, me, one for Mama A and one for Mama Tas and one for Angie´ Amy looked at Bette.
´Really for Angie? That´s so sweet of you´ Bette kissed Amy´s cheek.
´Yeah she gonna be a big sister. I think she wants to show everybody it´ Amy giggled and so did Bette: ´Yeah I think so too´ Bette kissed Amy softly.

Amy and Bette walked out of the doctors office with the pictures in their hands.
´She is beautiful, isn´t she?´ Amy looked with tears in her eyes at Bette.
´Yeah she is perfect.. just like you´ Bette stroked Amy´s cheek. Amy kissed Bette.
´You are perfect too. You are my everything´ Amy blushed and kissed Bette again.
´We need to tell my moms and Angie about my pregnancy..´ Amy sighed a little
´Yeah Angie is gonna be thrilled about it. I don´t know about your moms´ Bette rubbed her chin
´I don´t know either. Let´s invite them for dinner and tell them´ Amy said and Bette nodded.

Amy called Mama A: ´Hi Mom, can you come over tonight for dinner? Bette and I need to tell you something..´ Amy said nervous over the phone
´Yeah sure, is everything alright?´ Mama A asked.\
´Yeah, I´m okay´ Amy still said nervous. On the background Amy heard Mama Tas; ´It´s that my cookie on the phone?´
´Yeah that´s her' Mama A said to Mama Tas; ´May I have her?´
´Mama wants to talk to you´ Mama A said and Amy was glad that she didn´t had to call twice.
´Great, I needed to talk to her too.´ Amy said.
´Who is that?´ Bette whispered. ´Mama Tas´ Amy whispered back.
´Oh that´s easy. You don´t have to call both´ Bette giggled and Amy smiled sarcastic.
´Hi Cookie, how are you?´ Mama Tas asked on the phone
´Yeah I am fine and you?´ Amy asked to keep it cool
´I´m fine too´ Mama Tas said.
´Good to have you on the phone. I just askes Mom for dinner tonight and I want you to come too. I would really like that. Bette and I need to tell you something´ Amy said still nervous again.
´Everything okay?´ Mama Tas asked worried
´Yeah, Mama. No worries. So see you tonight?´ Amy asked again
´Yes, see you tonight, bye cookie´ Mama Tas hung up the phone.
´They will be both there tonight´ Amy sighed and looked at Bette.
Bette kissed Amy softly and stroked her cheek; ´It will be fine okay. I love you´
Amy smiled and returned the kiss as they walked outside the hospital.
