Anxiety. Most of us don't know the definition, but we definitely know the feeling. We may not know the exact meaning, but we can tell you in detail how it ends our day in seconds.

Sometimes it's difficult to know what relaxation feels like...

We are afraid of picking up our phone when it rings.

We prepare conversations in our head ahead of time.

We struggle with unexpected run-ins.

Meeting new people is heartbreaking.

Walking in a crowded room is terrifying.

Public speaking is a nightmare.

We always feel nervous........ multiplied times 10.

We tend to compare ourselves to others

We regret things we did ...... years ago.

We are paranoid someone is talking about us or that they hate us.

If people are laughing too close to us, we believe they are laughing at us.

We are scared to be annoying. We don't want to be a bother.

Anxious thoughts like to creep in. It is who we are. The only thing that allows us to keep on going is knowing we are not alone. There's more like us.

There's others out there that know exactly how we feel. There's people that understand we are not crazy or overreacting.

Yes. We have tried yoga. Yes. We have also tried "getting over it." But No. It doesn't work.

Maybe peace and quietness helps us. Maybe reading a book allows us to escape our reality. Maybe running keeps our mind busy. Perhaps listening to music calms us. However, regardless of what works, we try everyday. We get up every morning to try our best again.

Whenever you are able to do something you were afraid of, be proud of yourself. Live for your small victories. Let those victories be your inspiration to never give up.

Don't worry, you are not alone.
