One week earlier...

They were working on getting Verdi ready for a bath, still worried about what happened to their daughter.

"You think we should hail her," Edaline asked with worry in her voice. It was a only a day, and Sophie and Keefe still haven't returned. But they were still worried crazy. Sandor wasn't with them. Something told both of them they were in trouble. That instinct was correct.

There was a thunder sound and there was screeching. Grady and Edaline whipped their heads toward the sound to find the glittery alicorn, but Sophie and Keefe weren't with her or near her in any sort of way.

"Quick hail the Council," Grady shouted panic in his voice. Edaline didn't hesitate. She ran inside and grabbed her imparter.

"Hello," Oralie asked, "Hello, Edaline. What's going on?"

"It's Sophie and Keefe," Edaline said her lips trembling, "They went on a ride with Silveny, only Silveny returned. I don't know where they are."

"Oh my gosh," a voice said, which Edaline soon found out was Kenric, "Yes, I was here the whole time. We'll get a search party."

"Thank you," Edaline said.

One week later...

They were working with the verminion when they got a hail from Elwin.

"It's Sophie and Keefe," Elwin said immediately he had their attention, "They dropped out of the sky and crashed through Foxfire. They do not look good. According to Dex they were taken again by the same people who took them before."

"I'm going to kill them someday," Grady yelled.

"Okay, we'll head over," Edaline said, "She's going to be okay right," she asked Grady.

"Let's just head over to Foxfire, and see how she is doing," Grady said but that didn't erase the worry, fear, or panic in his voice, "I never should've let them go."

They leaped to Foxfire and straight to the Healing Center. When they entered the Vackers and Dex were already there.

When they looked down they saw their daughter covered in burns, blood, and a cocoon of bandages around her ankle. (A/N yeah I forgot she broke her ankle in my own story *embarrassing laughs*)

"They did it again," Grady mumbled and punched the wall which made a hole and a throbbing pain went into his right hand.

Elwin came out soon after and mumbled, "Great, another patient. Grady, don't beat yourself up. If it makes you feel better she's heavily sedated."

"How does that make me feel better," Grady interrupted.

"Well, she's not in any pain. When, she wakes up all of her injuries will be taken care of, along with Keefe. Keefe is a little less serious since he didn't break his ankle yet. We all know one day he will."

Grady wanted to slap himself for forgetting about Keefe. His parents soon rushed in. Gisela looked like she was going to cry. (A/N throws up) Cassius looked like he could care less. He hugged Gisela, she then winced and hissed in pain.

"I'm fine," she said, " There are more people you should care for, Elwin. Like my son."

The Vackers and Dex went home a couple of minutes later.

Grady got hailed by the Council.

"What," his voice shaky.

"Grady," Councillor Emery asked, "Are you okay?"

"No, Sophie was found along with Keefe and Bullhorn cannot tell who is closer to death. I can't do anything right now, except stay with my daughter in case she dies," Grady said with tears running down his face.

"Oh," Emery said, "I'm sorry, you can take as many days off as you need."

Grady went back inside of the Healing Center to see his still unconscious daughter with Edaline clinging to her. He went by their sides.

They needed to stay there for as long as they can. They even asked the gnomes to look after the animals at Havenfield.

They just sat there all day and night hoping Sophie would wake up and be okay. As long as they knew she was safe.

A/N Hey everyone I am so sorry I haven't posted in a little while. *tries to hold back tears* But, my dog past away yesterday. I needed some time to get together. I know he only died yesterday but we knew he was having problems for a week. Merry Christmas!!! Happy New Years!!!
