A week had passed since the VKs started attending Auradon Prep. Carlos and Trix hung out when they could, even though Mal didn't fully trust her or her brother.

Trix sat on Evie's bed and played with Evie's bed sheets as she half listened to Jane talk about nonsense.

Jane paced back and forth in the girls dorm. "Mom said, "If a boy can't see the beauty within", then he's not worth it." Can you believe it? I mean what world does she live in?" The girl exclaimed.

"Auradon."

Evie held up an outfit she had been sewing. "Mal, do you like?"

"Yeah. It's cute. It brings out your eyes."

"I know."

"I'll never get a boyfriend." Jane flopped down on Evie's bed next to Trix. Since Mal changed the girl's hair she had found a new sense of confidence and had no problem being around the Cheshire girl.

"Boyfriends are overrated." Mal said as she looked over a book.

"I don't know. I think they're fun." Trix said mindlessly. Mal sent her a look but because Trix was looking down she didn't see.

Evie snapped at Mal for looking at her friend that way. "And how would you know, Mal? You've never had one."

"It's 'cause I don't need one, E. They're a waste of time."

"I forgot to do Chad's homework! Oh, no! Oh, no, no, no." Evie got up and started rummaging though her backpack.

"And that is exactly what I mean."

Trix jumped up suddenly remembering that Ty had asked to meet her. "Trix?" Evie questioned. "Are you okay?" Trix just gave her a smile before she turned and left the room, bumping into Lonnie, Mulan's daughter as she left.

Trix walked down the hallway with a smile. She stopped at Ty's dorm and walked in.

Ty was seated on his bed reading a book upside down. "Hi Ty. Tye die. Die tye." Ty snapped in his sisters face, breaking her out of whatever trance she was in.

"I don't want to be a threat Trix." Ty said sadly. Trix gave her brother a small smile. "Carlos, Evie, and Jay don't see us as threats." Ty nodded his head at the fact.

"But Mal does." Trix's smile fell as she thought about it. It wasn't that the twins needed to be loved, they wanted to be accepted. Being from Wonderland everyone made it seem like something was constantly wrong with the two. And while they should've been used to it...they weren't.
