Arsyns POV
Class had ended, it was time to leave. I would live on campus but getting beatings is better than staying here. Opening my umbrella i start to walk back home only to be greeted with the same kid i bumped into in the hallways
"Hey! Um i just wanted to apologize to you for bumping into you in the hallways" Velvet said with a nervous smile
"Oh, that's fine don't worry about it" i said again offering a warm smile Velvet tilted his head down "i love that sweet sweet smile of yours" Oh? "You do? That's nice i'll make sure to smile more around you then" Velvet blushed
Wait. I feel like i forgot something, something important. I look up to the sky expecting to see the warm colors of the sun but instead i see a plethora of purples and reds. My breath hitched. Shit i was supposed to be home before sunset spending time with this dumbass kid. I looked up to velvet and sweetly said "Hey do you mind if i crash at your place tonight? I think my parents have visitors at their house right now" Velvet looked shocked "No. I'm afraid you can't, sorry" I'm not going to give up that easily. "Please Velvet, i don't know what my father might do to me..." i look to my side with a pained expression on my face "Your....father?" he questioned "Yes, i don't want to talk about the things he does to me... so please let me go" He hesitates for a moment and shows obvious unease
