*Minho POV*

Chan had said that there was a possibility that we could debut, and that he was just bringing one more person and would then tell us what was happening. We all sat in one of the studios, slightly anxious and wondering who the ninth person Chan was bringing might be.

The door opened and we looked over to see who it was. Chan poked his head in first.

"Okay, I brought in our ninth member. Please give a warm welcome to," he walked in followed by another boy, "Woojin."

I didn't know Woojin at all, but Changbin, Seungmin, Felix and Jeongin looked frightened. I looked at them worriedly. If this dude had done something to my friends, how could we be a group without fearing something would happen to the rest of us?

"Hi everyone!" Woojin smiled. A chorus of replies came and both he and Chan sat.

"Channie Hyung?" Felix squeaked. "Can we talk to you quickly?"

Chan looked skeptical, but nodded and the five of them walked out.

*Chan POV*

"What's going on?" I asked the boys, who looked quite terrified.

"Hyung, Woojin can't be in our group." Changbin said. I stared at them in shock.

"Why not?"

"He's hurt us." Jeongin said quietly, looking at the floor.

"What?!" I was shocked, "How? What did he do to you?"

"He bullied me and Changbin Hyung." Seungmin said.

"He tripped me and I ruined my knee." Jeongin whispered.

"He had beaten me up a bunch of time." Felix revealed, showing the bruises that were on his torso and arms.

My heart sank. How had I not known? How did I not realize. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"He threatened us. But we can't be in the same group as him! He'll kill us!" Jeongin squeaked.

"I'm kicking him out. And I'm going to speak to JYP." I finally said. "I do wish you would've told me earlier though, but I understand the circumstances. I'll protect you boys, okay?"

They all nodded and hugged me tight.

*Aera POV*

I had been practicing with Yeji, one of the girls that was now training with me in the same dance class, when an instructor told us to follow him.

"Where do you think we're going, Unnie?" Yeji asked.

"Not sure."

We continued to walk until we got to one of the meeting rooms. This confused us more, but nonetheless, followed the instructor in. In the room, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and some other girls I didn't know were sitting all together.

"Hello," the two of us said and sat down.

"Hello." The girls replied.

"Okay, everyone, introduce yourselves." The instructor told us. He pointed to me first.

"Hello, I'm Kim Aera, and I'm 20 years old." I said with a smile.

"Hi, I'm Hwang Yeji, and I'm 18 years old." Yeji smiled.

"Hello, I'm Sakamoto Mashiro, I'm 19."

"I'm Lee Chaeryeong and I'm 17."

"I'm Park Sunmin and I'm also 17."

"Hello, I'm Shin Ryujin, I'm also 17."

"I'm Kim Yejin, I'm 18 years old."

"Hi I'm Yuna. I believe I'm the youngest, cause I'm 15." Yuna grinned.

"Okay girls, you're probably wondering why you're all here." The instructor. We all nodded. "Well, you are all having a chance at debuting."

We gasped. Me especially! Debuting, finally after seven years!

"There's a twist, isn't there?" Yeji said. The instructor nodded and I felt myself droop a little.

"You will be performing a showcase, and JYP himself will decide whether you or the boys that one of the trainees has picked will debut."

"Who are the boys?" I asked.

"We aren't sure yet, Chan is going to confirm by the end of today."

"Chan? As in Bang Chan?"

"Yep. Anyways, you'll be going up against the boys, which means we need to plan some choreo and the song you will be performing."

We all nodded and began to brainstorm, but I couldn't get over the fact that it would be either me or Chan debuting, no the two of us.

*Hyunjin POV*

I was annoying Jisung by playing with his hair and trying to knot it, but it was too short. He whacked my hand away and frowned. Chan walked back into the room with a very angry expression on his face. It slightly scared me because I was unsure if I had done something. But I was mostly worried about Seungmin. He looked so scared when he saw Woojin walk in, and I tried to talk to him, but he left to speak to Chan. If this guy had done something to my Minnie, I was prepared to throw hands.

"Woojin." Chan said in an awfully calm tone.

"Yes?" He had been sitting next to Minho, who was silent the entire time.

"Why? Why did you do that to them?" Chan asked. The rest of us were very confused.

"Why did he do what?" Jisung asked.

"Why did you hurt the boys? And why aren't you answering?"

"Why would I hurt the boys?" Woojin replied.

"That's what I'm asking!"

"No, I mean, I didn't do that."

"Really? So the bruises on Felix's body are fake then?"

I stared. What the fuck? Felix had bruises? And from Woojin? That asshole!

"Don't know what you're talking about." Woojin shrugged.

"Woojin, I know you hurt them!"

Jisung looked frightened, and I gave him a small squeeze to comfort him. Minho was still silent, he slowly got up and joined us.

"Isn't that a little biased, Chan? Of course you would take their side, you know them and care for them, but you don't know me well. Is that really fair?"

Chan stopped short and looked back and forth between the boys and Woojin.

"No!" He finally said. "No it's not. There's evidence, and four boys against you. I think that's more than enough. I'm going to JYP PD-nim and I'm going to tell him what happened as well as confirm the lineup." Chan turned to us. "Take care of them. Woojin, come with me."
